American BassVFL4800-1D Class D Mono Hybrid Amplifier 4480 Watts

This is a beast. It will literally shake your house. I am highly impressed. Impressed enough to purchase 4 4800's to drive 2 Rockville Destroyer 12d2. As it stands this single amp/ single 12d2 will literally vibrate the skin on my mobile home like a car trunk packing 2 15's. To run it in the house get the 100 amp 12vdc power supply. You will need a good deep cycle marine battery and a solid capacitor it stiffen the bumps. I'm running a 30 amp for Soundstream head unit with 2 pair of 6.5 midbass and horn tweeters from Rockville. 30 farad cap from Rockville. 1/0 welding lead 120 amp Skar fuse.

I am actually waiting on a second VFL 4800, but using this for 2 of 4 Titan 1244. Ran all 4 subwoofers with ease. Disconnected and waiting on second one to arrive. Two Thumbs Up - What I expected.

This amp has great sound quality all the way through the ranges. Very powerful in the lower hz ranges. Very satisfied.

So I will start off by saying that, this is a good amp. However, the amp does NOT produce the wattage the the manufacturer specified. It says the amp produces roughly 2200 RMS, that is simply NOT TRUE. This amp is pushing more along 1100-1400 watts RMS. The amp would be a great amp if it was marketed as a 1500w amp instead of what the manufacturer has labeled as. In my honest opinion, this amp is just not worth the money. For the same amount you can get a true 2000w amp from SKAR audio. Hope this has been helpful to any other bass enthusiasts. I will be returning this amp and purchasing a TRUE 2000w RMS amp.
