Quality materials/light and easy to set up
High quality panels. I have used Renogy for years on multiple vehicles and setups and have no complaints.Ref this panel, I bought it as backup to charge a portable 700W power station.Easy setup with the folding legs.Very light yet sturdy. The reinforced corners will give you extra peace of mind. Folds in two which means you only have one seam to deal with. Keep the foam as suggested by other users. Other manufacturers have 3-4 seams for similar wattage which may make those a tad more compact but more difficult to point and setup.Output is what you would expect from a good quality panel. Just do the math based on the loads you expect so you proper size your system.Bag is also good quality! If you have higher loads (like Starlink needing to run all day or a bigger than 1000W battery - or generator how they like to call them now) or travel in less sunny places I would buy two of these. That way it gives you flexibility of carrying one or two depending on your plans. Two of these would be easier to setup and weigh less as individual panels than one big heavy 4 panel 160-200w portable panel. It would cost a tad more but if you can get them at discount, you are set. Not to mention that having two separate units is better as contingency. There is only one aspect to be aware of, the connectors are on the back so if you want to place this panel flat the hood of your car, they may scratch paint if they move around so you would need to put a towel behind it. Anyway, it is meant to stay oriented towards the sub with the easy setup legs on the ground.

Worked great to charge my Jackery 300
I've used this to charge my Jackery 300 once so far (connected with "JacEnergy Solar Panel to DC 8mm Adapter Cable"), and at one point it was charging at 96 watts. I think the most I've gotten from charging with Jackery's Solar Saga 100 watt solar panel was in the mid 80's.This panel weighs much more than Jackery's solar panels, so I'll be using this solely to charge at home since weight is an issue for me as a senior citizen. However, the weight is a benefit since it will withstand some windy conditions. I like that it's rated okay to be left out in the rain, and being in Florida I should have an opportunity to try that feature soon. Because of the metal frame, it can get very hot to handle. I had to put some gardening gloves on when I repositioned it after it was in the strong sunlight. Even though there are no markings on the legs to help position both the same, I didn't have any trouble making them even. If I do in the future, I'll just add some markings myself. The included protective case is very nice and makes this Renogy solar panel a good value. My big complaint is with Amazon. When the panel arrived in a very beaten up box, it had some adaptor already connected to the Renogy cable. I realized I was sent someone else's return and although the panel itself looked okay, I was unable to remove one of the adapter ends to even try it. But shame on Amazon. I returned it for a refund, and not willing to trust Amazon again, I ordered one directly from Renogy. It was beyond aggravating because there was rain in the forecast for the next week and I was really looking forward to using the Renogy panel since I couldn't use my Jackery panel under wet conditions. The panel I received from Renogy was new.

Solid and stable solar panel...
This solar panel is very aesthetically made and the whole is protected by a high-quality case. The suitcase design allows you to place additional extension cords inside. The whole is stable and easy to set precisely during charging. The first tests showed an efficiency of 70W, but it was not in full sun weather. I hope to get even better results. All in all, a very promising product, and two times cheaper than the Jackery Saga 100W I had before.

Well built, self-contained portable solar solution
I've been researching and over-analyzing what solar solution to use with my pop-up camper trailer for a couple of years now, but finally have a trip in mind where solar is an option I cannot put off exercising any longer. There are pros and cons of a portable unit versus installed, stationary solar panels. Fully installed will be more convenient because once installed, you don't have to set them up again. But then you're forced to select campsites that don't result in shading of the solar panels, and you can't really adjust their angle once you've set up the trailer. Portable give you a ton of flexibility on where the panels are placed, customizable for every unique camp site situation. And you can use them in applications outside of just a single trailer. And portable panels don't require drilling more holes in the trailer roof; holes that over time could become sources of water intrusion into the roof. In the end, I selected this portable unit.It is heavier than I expected. I know the listing is fully accurate on weight. I just thought of 20 pounds as less than it actually is. This is fine, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that they are portable, and do work well. The size is also substantial, but you won't find a smaller 100w solar suitcase, so it's perfectly acceptable, and to be expected. It's nice that it consists of two 50w panels, so compared to a single 100w panel, it does fold up to be half the outer dimensions.Setup is really easy. Connect the alligator clips to the battery, plug in the charge controller to the panel, and you're done. First time setup includes selecting the battery chemistry. And of course you will need to position the panels on-site for optimal exposure to the sun.Once it's installed, everything works as it ought to. The charge controller has all the phases you would expect of a good quality controller, despite not being a particularly high-end unit. I like that the controller is attached to the inside of the suitcase, making it really a self-contained system. The cable that comes with it is just under ten feet in length. This *may* be too short for some applications, and some campsites. I ordered an extension cable, and it can snap in as needed for extra length, and extra positioning options. If ordering an extension, make sure it's one that provides positive and negative terminals, and that it's a heavy enough gauge to reduce power loss over the distance.I was impressed with the build quality, and the "finished" feel it has. The latches to close up the suitcase are strong, the handle is strong, and it zips nicely into the included, padded nylon case. The cables fit inside the folded panel, so when it's time to load it up for camping, there's just one thing to grab. There are reviews online that take a more critical look at the efficiency of various panels and controllers. Renology always scores quite well, and I have no complaints. It works great. In summary, it's a portable, high quality, well thought-out solar charger for 12v systems. The design is exactly what I hoped for, and I'm glad I bought it. If you're looking for a portable solar charger in the 100w capacity, this should be a top contender.
