Descendants of Darkness: Yami no Matsuei, Vol. 4

The first several volumes of this manga were made into an anime video. This one is the next volume after those stories. Guardians of souls needing guidance to their final destiny are the central characters. Most customers for this manga would already be familiar with the story line. Lots of humor, some of it adult humor. Reading some of the text might require a magnifying glass.

Very good story.It is continuing where Matsushita, Yoko left off at in volume 11.Volume 12 is out and is in English.She is continuing it in "Hana to Yume" magazine, published by Hakusensha,in Tokyo, Japan, but it is not being translated into English.I don't think they will translate the continuation after volume 12 into English.

Yami no Matsuei is a wonderful series. Ever since VIZ announced they had the rights I've wondered if they would edit it. Well on page 147 of Volume four they decided to. It's missing sound effects. As well as the head of one character on the bottom panel in order to obscure the sex scene. Why they decided to do this is a mystery considering the Teen+ parental advisory and other content in volume four and previous ones. So does it spoil the whole book? Any fans can make up their mind, but it certainly calls into question the authenticity of future volumes. Especially since there is more material VIZ may find questionable.

This is is a good book, keeps you laughing each time you read it
