Xero Shoes Women's Z-Trek, Barefoot Hiking Sandals, Porcelain Blue, 7

This is my first Xero brand shoe. I have been wearing Whitin brand barefoot minimalist shoes (3 styles of them) that I also purchased on Amazon. I wanted a sandal style that I could wear with socks when I wanted to (nothing between the toes) and these looked like they would work well. I wore them yesterday after they arrived and they feel great! The size 7 fit with plenty of room for toes to stretch forward when walking. I like how they adjust to fit the width. Since I didn't have to get used to a barefoot shoe, these felt perfect right off the bat. These are definitely my new sandals!!! My Teva's feel so heavy and clunky now after wearing these Xero's. They will also make great indoor (slippers) shoes with socks in the colder months, so will be wearing them year round.

I ordered a 7 and when they arrived I realized they were way too big. Make sure your toes are exactly at the edge or even slightly over. If not the toe edge acts like a shovel and just fills your shoe with dirt and rocks. I went to REI and tried on the other version of these and ended up with 5 ! I love them ! They are super comfortable. I traced the 5 onto the size 7 and cut them and sanded the edge and they are great. Still get dirt in them but you always will. I would and will buy more of these. Just make sure you order one to two sizes down.

Trying Zero sandals to assist in correcting bunions. So far so good. I do like the lightweight of this shoe.

I really really like the way these feel, walking feels comfy and even hiked in em.The only thing is the size was a bit big! Im normally a 7-7.5 so I got a size 7. these shoes were abnormally long so sometimes when I step the toe drags. I think I may size down.

I’m a Woman’s size 8 but got these in size 7 thanks to checking the printable size guide on the Xero website. My feet are narrow with long toes but there is still enough allowance at the front and it’s not too much to flap around and scoop dirt. I prefer not to mess with the velcro straps and instead adjust the sandal from the top strap. The sole feels durable and I did not experience losing insole grip when exposed to rain and pool water; maybe the occasional readjusting helped. I was pleasantly surprised when I can notice all the rocks, uneven surfaces, and even the heat from exposed concrete. When it’s a good and secure fit I feel comfortable and ready to go!
