The snap used is metal. The metal is exposed to the interior of the envelop, which may scratch screens. I bought a bunch of these, hoping to use them as a first layer of protection for shipping tablet devices. Sadly, they’re not fit for that purpose. A small patch of cloth, or perhaps rubber over the interior snap would remedy this, and make them quite suitable. Unfortunately, as is, they’re just a novelty.

Portfolios will work for my Stitching projects, but not made very well. Heavy felt with a polyester fabric glued on top of the felt, which has separated after very limited use. One out of the four was very poorly assembled. I will probably go over seams with my sewing machine. Can’t beat the price!

I was looking for something to keep my important and current papers in, these aren't quite as big as I was hoping for but I'm making it work for now. Very nice felt type fabric.

My daughter picked these out in place of regular paper or plastic folders for school. I love that they are made of fabric. They are unique (so nobody else is likely to have the same ones) and come in so many different patterns and options. I only gave them 4 stars because I am not sure yet about durability as the school year is only just starting, but they seem really well made.

I got these to hold some special papers in but wanted something decorative. This was perfect! They are gorgeous and fit plenty of paper for what the size is. They are delicate so I wouldn’t get these if you want hard usage but everyday light usage and for some special filing, it is perfect.

These are well made, beautiful fabric envelopes with a clasp. They are so unusual and I bought them to put special letters in. I would highly recommend them.

I love the look of these and they're fairly functional though it is a little difficult to slip papers into the fabric lining of the folder when comparing to using a traditional folder. Within the first few weeks of using these, two of them lost their buttons or rather the button came undone and fell apart rendering it useless. I ended up cutting the flap over part off and pinning them to the wall to be usable still as a sort of inbox/outbox thing but overall I am bummed they weren't even able to hold up for a month.

I purchased these to organize papers for schoolwork and they work wonderfully. They keep each course's information separate and easily identifiable. The vintage look floral patterns are attractive as well. The material is thin but durable and they easily fit standard letter paper. They close easily and securely and are easy to open back up.Overall, these are lightweight, easy to use, and attractive and I certainly recommend them.
