Keep Cool and warm all at once
I needed a base layer for backpacking and hiking, something that would keep me cool unlike my usual cotton shirts. I wore this on a windy day and it kept me warm when trailing along, the hood was great for the windy days. The fit is a bit larger compared to your traditional medium, which I like as it gives you plenty of room to breathe. The thumb loops also make a nice warmth addition. For this price point I would recommend purchasing as it is so comfortable and feels smooth as better, quality could be better I see some of the stitching is quite poor.

Perfect for backpacking and hiking
The material is light and stretchy and soft to the skin. It is perfect for backpacking and hiking. It dries quick and breathes well so it isnt that hot in hot weather. The hood also fits very well and isnt too big. Dont hestitate, the price is worth it. The only con is that the material is slightly fragile and snags easily on thorns or sharp services.

Finally found a great hoodie for warm weather
Been looking for a sun hoodie to wear in warm weather in SoCal. I've tried several other brands. They were great for UV protection, but once the temps hit 80 degrees, it was a sweat fest. Not with the Mountain Hardware Crater Lake hoodie. This thing is awesome. Thin and comfortable in warm weather. I really like the hood and the fit.Two cons: first, the thin material rips very easily if you hike through thorny branches, and second, I would NOT wear this hoodie in cooler temps. It's too thin.

HIDES ALL THE DIRT
Please make this fabric in a women's style. My light blue REI sunhoody was basically grey within a week of my backpacking trip starting and the dirt didn't come out. This pattern hides the dirt so well, even after wearing this for a week straight, it looks pretty much the same as it started! Very lightweight, super smooth/soft, hood could be a little longer in front, but works well when you wear a hat.

Great Hooded Sun Shirt!
I love the color, lightweight feel, and perfect fit. I have purchased other brands in the same size and they fit more like a loosely fitting, lightweight, pullover. Would definitely purchase this one again.
