They smell horrible.** A: After mine aired out a little while they didn’t smell. **Q: Is the light one light enough to put around ankles and do side leg lifts and back leg lifts?** A: I doubt it. I use them around my thighs and do hip abductions with them. You could use them for doing sideways leg exercises.
