This product is a must for me was first time I used the polish in a bottle like this. No mess , mo waste. I was in control of how much I needed and exactly where I wanted to use . I actually enjoyed the job I was fixing.

I bought this for a medium-sized craft job, staining a set of birch wood cradled panels (think a box without a lid). It was great because it wasn't messy at all (if I didn't touch it). It absorbed quickly and dried quickly, and it did not look unnatural. The only thing was that it wasn't possible to get the interior corners cleanly with the applicator. If you have a project that requires that, you're better off getting a sponge brush and traditional stain.

Easy to apply with nice deep color.

This works well with a good color……until you take a wet cloth to the finished surface 24 hours later. It came right off. It’s a temporary fix. Washes off.

The sponge is falling apart with basic use and the stain doesn’t dispense well. I had ordered this to color long wood dowel for a Halloween costume. Realized I couldn’t find it until I did actually later realize it wasn’t in the box anyhow just re-ordered. Came this week. also all these pieces that came out of the sponge in the middle stuck to what what I was trying to stain. Did start a return on it I just have to drop it off. whole experience was very disappointing but at this point I’m just going to let that part of the costume piece of standard because I don’t choose to rush around at the last minute to buy more stain and apply it by brush

Exactly what I was hoping for!!! Easy application, dried quickly and was the perfect color. I used Dark Walnut and this stain is great quality and definitely worth the money.

I had some floorboards that were showing some wear and tear so I got this to try and re-stain the worn out areas. This worked like a charm! It was very easy to use and control and made my floors look nice and new!

Great idea, but no so good design. For one the sponge is kind of crap, should make it as a replaceable one, the sponge fell apart in no time, the stain wasn't consistent, the sponge didnt seem to get my on it as I result I had to be a little heavier on it. Glad I was only using it on some wood for laser cutting and nothing valuable.

It has taken multiple coats of this product to stain an old clock case, but there are still streaks from the grain of the wood. I expected better coverage. I was intrigued by the ease of use concept, but will be going back to the old fashioned way to finish staining the case.

Colour is exactly what I needed. Easy to apply. Sponge survived my small project. It would probably be less convenient to apply it on bigger surfaces with this head.
