At $26.50 for 10 {5oz) boxes is @2.65 a box. But all stores sell them for $1.25 for a 5 oz box.** A: I paid $10.78 for a pack of 10 in Sept., now they are up to $36. That's $3.60 per box, which like others have pointed out, cost $1.50 in a store. Needless to say, I won't be buying any until the price drops to $15. **Q: Do these come in a display box?** A: not a display box, but like the box you would see in the store...open top, where you can just reach in and grab a roll. since the top is open with no lid, the whole thing comes wrapped in plastic. **Q: Is there any way to know the "Best By" date before purchasing? Feb2024 had some bad batches.** A: Each seller will have a different date on them some of mine are 5/23 or 1/24 **Q: When do they expire?** A: I don't know if they even have an expiration date. I have ordered twice and they were fine. My OCD tendencies still make me separate them out by flavor and eat the orange and grape ones first and always save the cola and root beer ones for last because those are just the absolute best. I'm kind of surprised they haven't come up with an updated flavor variety with a Dew flavor and a Dr. Pepper(ish) flavor. What else? Sprite? Well, it doesn't matter. I guess if I'm still buying them after 50 years, that must mean they don't need to change anything, because these are still one of my favorite candies ever. Buying them in this package was cheap and keeps me from having to order over and over, so I love the size. Don't worry about them going stale. They don't. I've had some of the packs sit in a desk drawer for like 6 years and they are still fine. (Expiration dates are for wimps in my house.) They taste the same. But when I got these, they were fresh. I will always keep these in my house.
