**Q: Will this it my ge gdf520pgd4ww dushwasher?**
A: Not sure, I called a appliance parts house and they looked it up. They did not have it in stock and suggest I order it off the internet. Snap to change.

**Q: Is there supposed to be a gasket inside of the pump? Mine is now leaking, and it looks like there is supposed to be one inside where the propeller is.**
A: Not sure there is a gasket where the water is expelled to the pump.  We did not have any leaks.

**Q: Does this fit my GE gtup240em1ww?**
A: I do not know if that will fit that particular model I typed in my model of machine and when I searched for that part it said that that part was compatible with my machine so the only thing I can tell you to do is put your model of machine in there and then search that part and it will tell you if it will fit your machine or not

**Q: Does o-ring installation require to apply the silicone lubricant? i found leaks from both drain pump and circulation pump.**
A: In my case i didnt apply any lubricant...and its working perfectly after 2 months of installation..u might check any hoses or even the clamps....

WH23X24178 Pump Assembly installed a month ago and... so far so good! Just enough water was not being pumped out so that the wash tub wouldn't balance (you could hear it sloshing around under the tub if turned by hand) but now the machine is as good as new! Easiest install I've ever done; connects right to the bottom of washer in about 10 minutes!... And costs VERY little money!

Pump was an exact fit. Washer was leaking from the bottom. Pulled the old pump and the seal was pretty crispy. Installation of this one took all of 15 minutes. Perfect fit. Leaking solved and the pump is quieter than the original one! Great price as well!
