Soft, Comfortable, and a Huge Help for My Senior Husky
I bought it for my senior husky to give him a little extra support when walking and navigating stairs, and it has made a noticeable difference. The material is soft and comfortable, so he doesn’t seem bothered by it.The handle makes it much easier to give him a little assistance when he needs help getting up, walking, or going up and down the stairs. I especially appreciate having something that allows me to support him without having to awkwardly lift or pull on him.It feels sturdy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for an older dog who needs a little extra help getting around. It has given me much more confidence when helping my senior guy navigate the house and stairs.

My lil girl had tta surgery we r on day 2 officially she injured it Monday Tuesday morn I had her at a vet wed evening I found a surgeon thurs morn she had surgery listen the primary vet told us she wld need 2 weeks rest and get swelling dowm on it which is insane sooner u get it handled better the chance of recovery and them not blowing out tht other leg trying to compensate for the hurt one just FYI the other vets I spoke w re wht the primary vet sd were astounded im fortunate I cld help her as she ismt even 2 and wld have suffered long hard life if I cldnt had fixed it for her 😕 it literally exploded they sd it wasnt just a tear we cld nurse back none of tht she took off running full force and speed hit tht hill and thts all she wrote she got to top of tht slope maybe 2 or 3 leaps as for her stride and entered kennel door n laid down ik instantly from the vid sumn was srs wrong she limped back to the house got into the kitchen and hid til I got back from store wld not acknowledge the boys here w her I didnt have time to prep for ths surgery I had no knowledge of wht was needed what we r gonna gk thru and expc but I do kno tht I needed many tools to help on her long road ro recovery and ths was the second item I instantly thought of!! The first being a sleeve to cover the spot and a donut which is Ludacris trying to find affordable anything for giant breed dogs w necks over 22 23 let alone 28 and 30s smh anyway ths works well w my lil baby's giant breed belly helping support her standing etc shes just truly starting to feel better from anesthesia we r literally still with 48 hr threshold and so shes not done much of anything as of yet but I have used it to help her ease of use u slide it under the belly it is better if they sit up but if not ths pad slips under em n u can slide it thru if need be velco handle is nice option but not necessary padding on inside is like fake wool look i get the idea of tht but using tht kinda material with dog hair is wild personally lol I wldve chose sumn else desig. Wise or even used it since its soft but cover it up idk maybe think about tht design as surgery some times they have issues and it ckd also get wet so imo the design cld be better safety is the reason I got ths to help her around its imperative she stays safe and taking the weight off tht leg so she can heal is priority 1 also helping her get around keeping her mobile and flexing whatever she feels need to flex safely is why we got ths ths fits my giant breed dog and wld help any dog having mobility issues needing a lil helping hand ths wld be awesome for elderly dogs as they have issues w hips spine helping get tht weight off em just a lil wld do em so much justice the product is great and im thankful it was an option cuz if not I wldve been resorting to a towel I guess

Soft belly fabric, adjustable straps & easier than a towel to use!
We purchased this dog sling for our German Shepherd before she had knee surgery, she comes home today as surgery was yesterday! She’ll have both hips replaced after she recovers from the knee surgery as she has hip dysplasia and she is only 7 years old. Being a large and heavy breed, the sling works perfectly! The soft part that slips under her belly will help her recovery from all 3 surgeries. It’s much easier than using a large towel as I’ve tried that before. The towel is just too bulky to hold in one hand, in an emergency, it’ll do, yet it won’t be easy. I’d suggest getting this before you need it. The straps that you hold are wrapped on top together with a Velcro handle. The straps are adjustable so they should work for all sizes of dogs. Since it’s not expensive, I believe this should be one important item in your dog’s first aid kit to have ready should the need arise. A dog could easily get his/her foot or leg caught in something and try to remove it themselves and possibly injure it further. During her recovery from the knee surgery, we can help alieve the amount of weight that she puts on that leg. I really like the softness of the belly fabric and the fact that the straps are adjustable! It’s a win-win situation even if you don’t have the need to use it, you know that you are prepared as all pet parents should be for any situation! It perfect!

Very helpful product
I'm so glad I found this sling for my dog! he's older and has bad eyesight but insists on jumping on and off the bed and couch. He also has arthritis. I haven't used the sling for walking yet but am certain it will work out well if I do. My guy is 20 pounds and the small sling is perfect for him. It took only a couple times for him to realize it's soft, doesn't hurt his belly, and he's safer with it.

Big help!
It’s great for my older lab to help lift his hind legs especially on stairs. Adjustable strap is great so can make it suit comfortable to your height. Soft fur against his skin and private area does hurt him.

Used this for 4 months & here are the pros & cons.
My dog is around 10 lbs so I ordered a small. Her back legs don't work too well and she loses her balance when she goes potty and needs my help.Pros:It's well made as far as quality goes and I love that it's soft on my dog's belly. I'm able to hold my dog up when she goes potty and this thing holds its shape so it doesn't roll down as it would if you were using something like a scarf.Cons:Personally, the design leaves a lot to be desired. First, it's too wide from the front to back legs for a small dog. It needs an inch or two removed. It wedges itself against her back hips and causes her to go limp or fall. I learned to hold the sling up and forward so it's closer to her front legs, but it takes a lot of work. When my dog, like many dogs, walks around in circles to find the right place to go I have to walk right next to her and I have to hunch over a bit to keep up the strap forward AND straight up. If I don't, she will either fall over or she'll get her back feet over the strap. With the straps being the length that they are I have to be so close to her that I can't make any missteps to prevent her from falling or escaping. Also, I'm 5ft tall and the straps are barely long enough. It is way too short for my husband who is 6ft tall.My biggest gripe with this sling is that there no velcro to hold it in place. this means you have to hold the straps up firmly in the right position so your dog doesn't fall or get out of it. I'm hunched over walking in circles and holding it up and forward, but my girl can pull a fast one on me and turn quickly so if I'm not on it she can easily slide out of the sling. For a small dog, she has long legs so I think a short legged dog would have no problem getting out of it.If she manages to get her feet over the sling it's a struggle to get it back under her because she's trying to find a place to go but I'm stopping her, so even before I get it fully under her she moves and gets her foot caught in the strap which is a loop. I do like that the straps go across the front as well as the back for more support though. Basically it gives me a bit more control when helping my dog to balance herself as she needs more support on the back end. But, it needs a tube to go over the loops to prevent their legs from getting caught in them if they get out of the sling while on a pursuit of a poop spot.Btw, I did add velcro to this and it made a world of difference. Straps still need to be a bit longer though.

The BEST TPLO recovery sling!!
Our 4.5 yr old lab just had TPLO surgery and this sling has helped him and us soo much. Especially the cushion handle helps provide comfort while supporting some of his weight (87lbs) for potty breaks and getting around briefly while he recovers. The padding is nice and fluffy for his under belly for supreme comfort and it’s machine washable. He had an accident or two with it when we first started using it with him. Rinsed and popped it right in the washer and dryer good as new. Even my husband is thankful I ordered for a back up before his surgery. We love it more than the vet issued one. Highly recommend if you want a decent dog sling to help your fur babe and save your hands too.

Great product for dogs with arthritis
This dog sling is a must to have with an older dog with OA. This has been a life saver for us. My dog has bad OA in her back legs. This helps us to lift her down 2 stairs to go outside.

A Lifesaver for Our Senior Dog
This support harness has been an absolute game changer for our 14-year-old, 40 kg Labradoodle who’s been struggling with hind leg weakness. It’s very sturdy and well-made, yet soft and comfortable for him to wear. The handles give us great control and make it easy to help him get up, walk, or climb stairs without putting any strain on his joints — or on our backs! The padding is gentle on his belly and doesn’t cause any irritation, even with frequent use. You can really tell this was designed with both the dog’s comfort and the owner’s ease in mind.If you have an older or mobility-challenged dog, I can’t recommend this harness enough. It’s made such a difference in our daily routine and in helping our boy stay mobile and happy.

Really helpful for CCL surgery
We bought this after our dog had CCL surgery, and it was a lifesaver during the first few weeks of recovery. It made helping him up and down the stairs much easier and gave him the support he needed to stand up without putting too much strain on his leg. It’s easy to adjust, feels sturdy, and was comfortable for him to wear. I honestly don’t know how we would have managed without it during those first few weeks.
