Bottle versus Bag
I poured the contents of the bag into a clean Tasters Choice bottle. And made a comparison.The color of the bag one has a slightly lighter color and the texture was a little more powdery.I made a cup with the same size scoop that I usually use. If anything, the coffee tasted ok and maybe little stronger. Perhaps the bags are filled with a second pour of the granules, to explain the powdery look.I will be buying this offering as long as it performs this well.I love the square, air tight bottles and have them all over my house filled with other stuff. Rice, beans, crackers, pasta, cookies, bird food, cat food, laundry detergent, etc.

Pretty good
Coffee is good, my mom likes it too so I will be repurchasing at some point. It’s pretty smooth for a dark roast. I don’t drink it with sugar or anything so if I can drink it plain it’s pretty good.

Dangerously Powdery
I've preferred Taster's Choice House blend for decades; but due to limitations on access I tried this light version. It's extremely powdery if you have a cold because it keeps on floating when you transfer it to a jar. It has the consistency of fine dust, not Taster's Choice's grittiness and I found it dangerous to breathe near the jar I was filling. The taste appears to be acceptable.
