The color of the bag one has a slightly lighter color and the texture was a little more powdery. I made a cup with the same size scoop that I usually use. If anything, the coffee tasted ok and maybe little stronger. Perhaps the bags are filled with a second pour of the granules, to explain the powdery look. I will be buying this offering as long as it performs this well. I love the square, air tight bottles and have them all over my house filled with other stuff.
