**Q: Just to confirm, the actual cutting blade width is 16mm?**
A: No, the 16mm size quoted is not the cutting width - it's the width of the jaw opening. (Or 15mm for the smaller model.)

Strangely, the width of the cutting blade is not stated. In mine, which I think is the larger size, it's 13mm.

What a difference the wide jaws make when you've got thick, old man's toenails, ha, ha. So much easier to trim with this little beauty. Very well engineered, very sharp, and very smooth in operation, and a very affordable price, too. Five stars, no question!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overpriced.

These are very nice - posh if you like - clippers. Nicely finished and very sharp/powerful. However I don't think they are very good value for money. They come with a separate nail file and also a fabric bag and a tin, the latter two of which seem of little use and inflate the cost. That said I would have kept them but I just couldn't get on with them. The width and length is similar to my existing, worn out, clippers but the jaw opening is about double and the action is different. The wide opening is particularly problematic as it can almost encompass my entire little finger and combined with the action I found it was all to easy to include a fold of skin in the cut. I avoided that but had too many near misses where a moment's inattention could have been very bad. So not for me and I've returned them.
