The time came when I needed help reading small text on occasion. This is just the ticket. nice grip, led light powered by AAA batteries that last a very long time, good price. I don't used the led light much, but it's very handy when needed. I have multiples of these where I might need them: in the kitchen, the office, the library, garage and car … all just in case and they often come in handy.

Unfortunately, my eyes aren't what they used to be and I need a little assistance reading the fine print these days. This is a well thought out magnifying glass that gives you a large lens for reading and a small, high-magnification window for closeups, splinter removal, and the like. Very handy to have two functions in one. Also handy that you get two of them; I keep one upstairs and one downstairs so the closest one is never too far away. Only thing I don't like is each one takes three batteries. If you use high-quality batteries, they will cost you half of what the magnifying glass itself costs.

This is a two pack. One of them had a defective light....doesn't work. I didn't realize this until it was too late to return. I would have given 5 star if they both worked.

This little magnifier works very well. The price point is excellent and a good value for your money highly recommend it.
