Superb reference book for Manual Therapists!!
I was eagerly awaiting the release of this book and I was not disappointed when it arrived! Having trained with the authors, I knew it would be good. I have purchased all 3 of their books so far and this one is by far the best. Clear, concise, easily read with sound evidence based theories, you can't fault this as a go-to guide or reference book for your clinic or manual therapy business. I especially like the clinical assessments sections in the book and perfect mix or pictorial and written pieces in the book. Highly recommended!

It may be their best yet!
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book after reading the other publications from these authors and I am delighted to say I wasn't disappointed in the slightest with this book, it may even be their best yet. This book details the theory behind manipulation including patient screening and safety checks, alongside very clear and concise techniques and step by step pictures. This book will remain in my clinic as a reference guide. The safety checks and special testing detailed in each section for each technique is well laid out and really easy to interpret, and would be of use to manual therapists who don't provide manipulation. Highly recommend!

Fair but also disappointed
Nothing much new here for the experienced practitioner. There are quite a few techniques that have been missed out. Overall alittle disappointed

An enticing title but only that
I found it excessively wordy in technique descriptions to the point of being cumbersome. This meant smaller photos which are clear but too small and not enough of them. So less blab and more photos for balance. The overviews on mechanisms of pain theory are excellent and complex as they should be as so much remains speculative still. The books hardcover is shoddy and cheap as its Chinese bound in probably some shabby, recycled cardboard. Its bendy and fragile which I hate in a medical reference book. I find a number of my osteopathic texts superior to this in a number of ways but I'll keep it anyway. Initially the chiro-osteo theme caught my attention. Live and learn.
