Now in an easy-to-use pod, just peel off the lid and pop in the washing machine for permanent colour on natural fabrics at 40°c. Perfect for reviving faded jeans or brightening some towels. 1. Put damp fabric into the drum. Remove sleeve, peel off lid and put pod on top of the fabric. 2. Run full cycle (30°C or 40°c). 3. Run another cycle (30°C or 40°c) – with detergent. Suitable for: cotton, linen & viscose. Mixes with synthetics will dye to lighter shades (pure synthetics will not dye). One pack dyes 600g of fabric to full shade or up to 1.8kg to lighter shades. I used it to dye two dresses (one was a light lilac that was basically too light and therefore see though, and one was white and super boring). One dress was viscose , and one cotton. The colour came out beautifully and very vivid, it absolutely did the trick! The only downside is that the sewing thread of one dress must have been polyester so the thread didn't get dyed - but it makes a nice contrast against the colour of the dress so overall I'm quite pleased. It doesn't stink doesn't make a mess. The only thing is that you need to scrub the inside of your washing machine afterwards (I recommend using The Pink Stuff) but it was a quick thing to do.
