Ok but parking surveillance does not work
Good quality camera footage during normal driving but the parking surveillance feature does not work even when using same brand hard wire kit. Nothing in settings changes this. Software up to date and voice from unit states it is going into parking surveillance mode in 5 minutes after switching of engine but the mode does not actually work. This was 1 of the key reasons I purchased this item so I would not recommend for this reason. If you do not want this feature then this unit does a reasonable job at video recording but does not pick up numberplate of other cars while you are moving unless you are very close or at standstill.

Installation was a breeze!
Quick and easy installation. App is straight forward. Unfortunately, I installed it in my truck and have not been driving it due to a mechanical issue. I wanted to at least start a review in the allotted time frame so I can update after a more thorough evaluation.
