The kindle cover is lovely, but it doesn't fit snugly. I cannot close it completely, then saw that this 2018 kindle paperwhite is labeled as a 'slimline' which could be the issue. The Kindle is probably thicker than the case and will not work, making it difficult to keep charged and inconvenient to have to manually start it up when I haven't been able to find where I left off in a book. I still have the packaging, so am considering a return and replacement of another Kindle cover. Can anyone help me with this problem?

As you can see this sturdy case is perfect for my 10th generation kindle I purchased. It fits well and does wake up when you open the case up. You can definitely see tiny wear on the corners and the right side as it goes in my bag everywhere I take it. I have no problem inserting the charger in anyway. This is really a cute cover for my kindle when I go travelling. Highly recommend for its cheap and great quality case to protect your kindle.

This case fits well, with cut outs for charging and button. Lovely design. Feels great to hold. A bargain price for the quality of the product.

The case does what it is supposed to do. It wasn't quite as expected in that I thought it to might have the feel of the previous leather case purchased for the earlier kindle, but it does the job. Purchased because I like the design, but would go back to a leather case for next purchase.

This is a gorgeous kindle cover. Fits perfectly, turns Kindle on and off when opened and closed. I didn't want to spend $50+ on the covers recommended by Kindle (only four colours), so thought I'd try this one first. It's a quarter of the price and is far prettier and more unique in design. I'll be keeping it – I'm very pleased with the purchase. Arrived the same day as my Kindle. Quick delivery and well-packaged.
