This is the 3rd review I’ve written for this item, my previous two were rejected by Amazon for reasons that weren’t applicable. I will keep this brief and succinct: I’ve purchased 3 cots from this seller, and one replacement cover. The replacement cover arrived with an obvious flaw in the material, I took pictures. So after a months use, the flaw became a tear, and rendered the cover unusable. The cover and the cots came with a one year warranty, one of the reasons I bought them, so I began trying to contact the seller, to get a replacement. I could detail what happened next, with one word: nothing. Multiple attempts to contact, a variety of ways, no response. None. Undeterred, and still needing a replacement, I took the torn cover apart, made a pattern, went and bought fabric, and made another, much cuter, better colored replacement cover, which fits perfectly. Happy Ending, yes, thanks to me, job well done. Them? Not so much.

We bought the space topper to act as a replacement for our dog bed because it was so cheap and easy to take apart and clean. The dogs enjoy the bed so much we turned it into a second bed with some PVC pipe and corners and 3/4" oak dowel rod (long side, PVC bent too much). I will be purchasing another spare topper so we can maintain the two beds and most likely also a medium sized one so my little buddy who won't leave my side can have her own bed in my office. I wish I had found these sooner, I have spent so much money on traditional beds it is unreal, even had one custom made with "extra strong" material (lasted 8 months). As cheap as these tops are, if they last more than four to six months (half way there and they look unscathed) I will be very happy.It has been over a year since we bought our beds, our Pitty, Vizsla, and Pug mix who would destroy normal dog beds in 2-4 months have yet to damage these. They get rotated for washing as needed (or as one gets sick) and are in constant use. The beds may be free for a few hours, but only one, the other is occupied. Based on current wear I may have to replace one in two or three years (I hope the company is still around).

I love these cots. I have a kennel for boarding and daycare. The dogs love them. They do use a plastic for the legs but we haven't had issue with that and my dogs are pretty rowdy out there.The covers do last a long time. For being in all weather conditions, because I don't take inside even in downpours, hot sun, and snow, and being put through the ringer with my dogs, they go the distance.I don't need to do a replacement cover often but when I do I consider worth the price of another.Pictures of my rain soaked cots.

When my German Shepherd was a wee pup I ordered this and he chewed through the cover so much so that it started looking trashy. Since this sits in my living room I decided to get a new cover now that he is past that stage so it’s nice to see a crisp, clean new cover on it. He loves his bed.He is a year old and close to 90lbs now, just his body is 31” long and shoulder height is 28” so he is a big boy and he fits great on this bed.When I give him a filled kong and he makes a mess it wipes right off with a damp cloth. Very durable cover.

We got this to replace the cover that originally came with our cot. It's been outside in the elements for about a year and lasted well in the weather. Unfortunately, the squirrels decided it would be fun to chew on. Once it had a little tear, it split on the entire length. I was pleasantly surprised that this replacement was reasonably priced and seems to be higher quality than the original. The fabric seems sturdier and has a more robust vinyl coating on the underside of the canvas portion that I imagine will help alleviate the splitting when the squirrels inevitably chew on it again. It installs very taut, as it should. My pup hopped on it as soon as it was installed and seems to approve.

I bought this replacement cover for the pet cot I have. I've been really happy with the cot for my big dog. He's over 90 lbs and is comfortable on the cot. I got tired of either not being able to wash the big fluffy beds, or getting one so thin and washable that is wasn't comfortable for him. I've had to replace the cot cover about every 6-8 months as it just starts to tear at the seams. With a 90 lbs dog, that's to be expected. It's easy to wash - I take it off the frame and use a little soap, give it a quick scrub with a bristle brush, and it comes clean. Putting it in the dryer will shrink it a bit and make for a nice, tight fit on the cot once again. It keeps the bed from getting too stinky because it doesn't have all the stuffing many others do, yet is still comfortable due to the design. If this frame breaks, I'd buy another one right away.

I am the proud owner of 2 miniature dachshunds, who weighs 9 and 15 pounds respectively, they both enjoy going outside and lying in the sun. But I hated the thought of them on the patio cement when it's freezing cold outside or during the hot summers. I decided to order the medium sized cot, cover and replacement cover as a package deal. Ordering from K&H Manufacturing was easy, the item arrived on time, was well packaged and easy to open. Detailed instructions were easy to follow and assembly was fast.Both of my puppies fit comfortably on the medium sized cot. The material is thick, the stitching is strong and the frame is very sturdy. There are no sharp corners to injure pets or small children. The cot allows my puppies to sit on something besides the cement; the mesh center allows cool air to flow underneath them to keep them comfortable. The cover is removable but they enjoy hanging out inside their tent.Overall, I am completely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to others

Bought 2 beds a few years ago, cover seams came apart on one as dogs use it like a trampoline when jumping off a wall, rather than any issues with product. Replacement cover good quality

I had a hard time leaving only one star on assembly and durability. The reason is I am very disappointed with the design change made to this item. My dog and I love this cot so much we have two. One for outside with a canopy accessory and one for inside. Both were purchased as full cots and came with the brown and black material that the dog lays on and both came with the frame. The one cot we have is 7 years old and after 7 years of being used everyday and scratch on to get comfortable etc it needed to be replaced. The frame was in perfect condition so I was excited to see a replacement cover. Although it wasn't much more to buy a new full frame and cover cot, it was the colour that was a nice change and goes very well with the rest of the home decor. Unfortunately looking forward to years more of use has been risked by the horrible design change desicion made by the manufacturer. The cover is rectangular and all four sides on the original cover/full frame and cover set are completed stiched and the frame poles side through the openings. On this replacement cover one of the four sides of this rectangular frame cover (one of the short sides) is not stiched but instead a long strip of velcro. This is a big design flaw in my opinion! It will not stand up to washing, it will not stand up to the test of time. Also, my aging senior dog gets frightening now by off noises and everytime she steps on the cot you can hear the velcro stressing under the movement of the cover under the weight of the dog. That familiar sound of velcro being separated. It spooks her and she doesn't even want to get on it. Hopefully she gets used to it. My dog is at an ideal weight for her breed and age and only weighs 17 kgs. This original cot flames to hold upto 200lbs. I doubt this new one will support even the 37 lb dog I have and surely it won't for another 7 years... I like the K&H dog bed/cot product. It is fantastic! I am very disappointed by the desicion to have the velcro on the one side of the nylon cover. If it fails I will just purchase the original brown (chocolate)/black one to not risk the velcro design flaw again. In reality I can see why they did it to make the unit easier for assembly, but it was simple to assemble in the first place without the velcro and much more durable.

Compré este reemplazo de la camita de los gorditos, y las nuevas medidas son muy justas. Tengo dos camas tamaño large y una tamaño mediana y cuando recibí el reemplazo de la medida large vino justa, pero con ayuda pude acoplarla al tamaño de la estructura. Solo que la mediana definitivamente es por mucho más pequeña de lo normal, aunque la solicité en mediana. Sé que la tela cambió, definitivamente no es la misma que cuando adquirí las camitas, pero tendré que cortar la estructura para que le quede esta nueva medida. Recomiendo mucho los productos, pero si es importante que el fabricante respete las medidas de las estructuras. Espero les sirvan mis comentarios.

Great dane loves it. And it breathes they don't last that long because of the sewing from the canvas to mesh... otherwise I'd give it a five star.. the other bad thing is the little rubber stoppers in the bottom of the frames wear off after a month or so it did it on both beds for my dane and my lab. They need a less sharp foot because it destroys your floor.

Bought the original bed 8 years ago. My dogs (whippets) love it. Was very happy when found K&H made a replacement bed. I also but new rubber caps for legs. This bed is like brand new again. Bed stays outside 7 months of year through sun and rain and is inside 5 months of year. Both my dogs love being up off ground. Bed it very light weight, that is a bonus.
