iTouchless Touchless Trash Can Lid for Models IT13MX and IT13MXL- Trash Can Sensor Lid

This Trash Can / Recycle Bin works as described, just as I had hoped. It is the perfect size for my kitchen in all ways. It was somewhat expensive but I hope it continues to function the way it does for a long time. I do like the look / design of this Trash Can / Recycle Bin which is not something that is usually said concerning something to hold garbage. After all of the other Trash Can / Recycle Bins I have had, this one makes me happy.

The convenience of having an easy-to-reach recycling bin, right next to the trash, in a nice and visually pleasing design has made this a perfect choice for our kitchen. I'd say the only drawback is either a nightly or every other day you have to empty the trash. Now we're just moving into the house, so we just may be generating more garbage as we unpack everything. But I'd say you'd need to empty the trash no less than every other day. This is fine for me, having the two of them together with easy to remove inner bins makes managing the waste easy. We just pop the recycling bin and go dump it in the curbside bin when we need to empty it, and the inner plastic bin is easy to clean, rinse it out with the hose, tip it upside down and leave it out overnight. The added filters in the top of each lid are helpful as well. I've yet to notice any smells from either in the two months of active use since its purchase.

Has been using this 8 Gallon touchless trash can for 3+ months. It is in the hallway of our 2nd floor. As the primary trash can of 2nd floor, I am looking for a middle size beautiful trash can for a while. Tried different ones like simple plastic trash can , sensor embedded trash can, small ones for individual rooms, etc. None of them was really good for my home. A need a trash can with lip because I don't want to sow everyone the trashes. I also hope it can be in good quality, and I don't need to open it with my hand. This one is the right one for me. 8 Gallon is a right size for 3 bedroom in 2nd floor, soft close is so nice. I don't need to worry about it will wake up someone in the night. The design is good, and most important for me is the width fir the space perfectly. After 3 months, I am still satisfied with this one.
