Didn't work for us, but will it for you?
I was very optimistic about this product. I read all the positive reviews before ordering. My 5-year-old does not stay in his room at night. He wakes up every night in the middle of the night and we have tried melatonin and we gave these drops a fair shot too. We committed to two weeks. Unfortunately, they just didn't work for us. That and my son really didn't like the taste, even when I tried disguising it. So it became a fight. Why did I give 3 stars and not 1 star? I do believe the product works for some people. I believe the positive reviews. It just didn't work for my kid and I'm sure he's not the only one. At $18 a bottle, it is expensive to try - but as a parent with a kid who just doesn't sleep, I would pay twice as much if it worked. I really hope this review is helpful.

Helpful sleep aid
We just finished our first bottle for my 7 yr old who has adhd and wasn’t sleeping at all at night . He wanted to stay up late and couldn’t stay asleep all night once he did “pass out” we tried melatonin and it wouldn’t help. This was a little pricey I thought at first but was desperate for anything different that was safe and natural at the same time, his sleeping is much better now and it doesn’t take long for it to go into effect, he doesn’t mind the taste either and loves to count the drops for his dosage. I’m ordering his second bottle now!!

Nope
Try and give this to your kid without puking yourself.Too gross for anyone to try and see if it works. The smell turns you off and gags you, and the taste...I won't even ask my husband based on his reaction to it. Nope!

Seems to help my kiddo
My son is ADHD, and he's recently started taking a prescription to help him with it. It wears off a few hours before bedtime, and his energy just sort of builds from there... bedtimes can be a struggle. Before the introduction of the medication, it worked well for him to take a magnesium gummy or two after dinner, but after he started the meds, it just wasn't enough. Melatonin helps a great deal now (it used to make him realllllly emotionally dysregulated the next day) but I don't want to get in the habit of him taking that every night. These drops, in addition to the magnesium gummies, seem to help him reach a calmer state, allowing him the ability to relax, close his eyes and eventually fall asleep. It's not perfect-- nothing probably ever will be, honestly, because it seems we're a family of natural born night owls living in an early bird world... but this does seem to help, and I'll take whatever safe method I can get in order to help my kiddo get a good night's rest. He's always "so, so thirsty" at bedtime, amongst a million other things (insert eyeroll) so it's easy enough just to put some drops in the little cup of water he drinks after brushing his teeth. He hasn't complained about the taste and drinks it just the same as he does every other night (I also don't mind the "taste"). After drinking his cup of water we go to his bedroom to read a few books, and by the time we're done reading he's relaxed enough to settle in.So far he's taken these drops for about 3-4 days, and they have seemed to work relatively consistently. I hope it's not just a coincidence but it's still a little early to really know for sure. If the magnesium and these drops happen to not be enough at some point, we can always add in the melatonin.
