Anomalocaris Stuffed Toy Brown

This product was purchased for a friend who has a stuffed trilobite. The Amilocaris , for a stuffed toy, is very realistic, good detail, and most inportantly, cute. The vendors were very very helpful, easy to communicate - most, if not all, text messages were answered in hours or minutes. There was an issue with the post office returning the package, but the vendor made right the situation - they were very very pleasant to talk with. I Highly recommend this seller in the future. The pattern for the plush version of this Cambrian apex predator appears to have been closely modeled on the depiction in Stephen Jay Gould's "Wonderful Life". It has the big buggy (button) eyes on short stalks, the feeding appendages at the front of the head, and the circlet mouth behind on the underside. Purists, beware: the eleven overlapping lobes on the sides of the body are not separated here; if you want that degree of accuracy, you can probably still order a bespoken critter on Etsy. Here, the lobes are depicted as a kind of bedskirt, with the outer edge evidently stiffened with wire to reflect the rippling motion of the animal as it swam. It's just adorable. Provided, of course, that one is not a trilobite.

My life has improved drastically since I purchased this plush Anamalocaris. The quality of it is incredible, it arrived on time, and is exactly what I wanted. It's not too big, not too small, and it's anatomically accurate (at least as science suggests). It's honestly a tragedy that more people don't own one.

I like (ney, love) everything about this beautifully made stuffed animal version of the grandmother of predation. I have mixed feelings about anomalocaris as a species, but I am all about & all for this toy version, as it is beyond rad. Shipment was also very quick!
