First to get the negative out of the way and then the positive. The instructions need to be a little bit more clear on how to actually connect with a floater. I had to look up someones tutorial on YouTube because it wasn’t straightforward on the product itself. It fits perfectly, you get your moneys worth, and it’s so far it seems stable and leak proof. Removing the old one and putting the new one less than a minute. It’s pretty easy to install. The floater comes pre assembled with a chain. It set in the center, I wasn’t aware of this up until I looked up a YouTube video, you can slide it up or down from the chain itself, this controls the amount of water that goes out since the floater might close the flapper as soon as you flush the toilet. Depending on your toilet, the handle position, plus the valve itself the chain might be longer so when you press the toilet handle it either doesn’t lift the tab or briefly lift it and then two seconds later it closes. As you can see from my toilet, it’s a side connecting handle. Luckily, I was able to reposition the handle itself to hover over the flapper. Then I figured out from watching YouTube that the floater needs to be slid all the way down to the flapper, and if you have any extra chain, just tie them up so that it’s perfectly aligned with the center over the flapper. The easiest way to do this is align the chain over the flapper when its closed. (Than remove excess chain length) tie, fill the tank and test try. This was something that the instructions did not say you could do. The toilet would flush, but the floater would instantly close the valve the moment it was raised only maybe getting two seconds of water. This was before I adjusted the chain or push the floater to the flapper itself just straight out of the box. Like I said, I don’t have anything negative to say I still gave it five stars, but they should tell you in the instructions that you can move the floater up and down because for someone who’s never worked with one of them, you would think it’s permanently attached to the chain and cannot be moved. If you have a longer/taller water tank that's, you may not even need to do any adjustments other than the basic chain length. What I would recommend is connect straight out of the box to your toilet and if it works, perfect, but if you’re noticing not a lot of water is getting used or the flapper closes rapidly follow my instructions and push the floater all the way down towards the flapper. And get rid of any excess chains. Make sure the chain from the handle to the flapper is even length. With no extra chain. But just hovering over the flapper itself. For my toilet, the water container is slightly smaller. I would say medium size so half of the chain I needed to retie with the clip for the handle itself. Other than that . It’s easy to install. It works perfectly and have nothing negative to say about it. Very happy with it. I definitely would buy again.

I purchased both the Flapper and new fill valves for my TOTO toilets. When I installed the flapper and adjusted it in accordance with the instructions. together with the new fill valve, everything worked perfectly. The instructions were flawless and simple. - A couple of days later we noticed that the water level of the tank was lower and the fill valve kept coming on. I could not figure it out so I called Korky - Their customer service gals are great they really know their products and gave me a couple of tests to determine the problem and finally decided to replace the new flapper at their expense. - It took a few days for the flapper to arrive and in the meanwhile I checked and rechecked the flapper and saw nothing wrong with it or the surface of the flush/overflow valve. Then I saw that the Toto handle had play in it and would sometimes move the flush valve off its intended position and allow very minimum seepage. I called Korky to ask if I should send back the flapper that they sent me and they said keep it for future use. I had to replace the Toto handle $23.00 ripoff - but everything works perfectly now ! Thanks Korky !

Used it on a small round bowl toilet with an equally small tank. Could never find a flapper that would stay up long enough to flush but this one has a float that keeps the flapper up so the toilet actually flushes without holding the handle down. Easy to install and adjust with a good seal. The unit is flexible but very thin rubber, so I forsee needing to replace it every year or so because of our EXTREMELY hard water situation. But having a toilet that actually flushes now with 2 teens in the house, is an absolute must.

Routine toilet running problem. Very slow leakdown so that you couldn't even tell by a few minutes of watching the water for movement. Put coloring in the tank water to verify a leak. It took a couple of hours for the blue to hit the bowl, then it was a very light tinge. The original flapper was not very old, maybe a year, probably less. It was replaced with the water valve so I had doubt it was the flapper. Of course it was, but I had doubts. Figured I'd go with the cheap, flapper before replacing the tank gasket. Well, this valve did the trick. So when the coloring verified a flapper leak, I should have had faith in the evidence. I don't know that the chain float makes a ton of difference, but this flapper works. Since there are many flapper options, I went with one that had pretty much rock solid good reviews, and I'm adding one more.

Running toilet and this fit great but still have to hold down handle too long for complete flush. Not too happy with this design.

We have hard water here in southern CA, and 3 toilets in our home, so I change out toilet flappers continually. Usually I get whatever "universal fit" flappers that are available at the local home-store. Recently though, the wife has complained that some toilets are "hard to flush." Invariably, the "hard to flush" flappers were those rigid-armed universal-fit Fluidmasters. I usually get several at a time, so I might have gotten a bad lot; however, they were indeed hard to actuate, and sometimes would not fall/shut-off. I also replace tank fill valves frequently, and have had good results with those Fluidmasters; it's just the flappers that have been a problem. I was actually looking for Original Manufacture (OEM) American Standard when I ran across these. They LOOK to be identical to the flappers that originally came with our American Standard and Porcher toilets [same yellow float, which is movable up-and-down to adjust the amount of water that is "flushed"]. The metal chain is quite long; I clipped the excess for our Cadet toilet tank [rather than have it flail around], but it should be fine in the Porcher's tank, which is taller. Works fine; very pleased.

They fit, they are fairly easy to install, they work well, and last a long time. The only thing I have to adjust is to shorten the chain a bit. My only complaint is eventually they wear out and wind up in the landfill of plastic of which we already have way too much in this world. I'm not sure if they make an all-stainless steel design and if that would create a good stopper so water doesn't leak out. Some kind of "forever" product, hence less in our landfill?

Fits & worked well! Arrived quickly, easy to install... not a whole lot of instructions but its really not tough to figure out. Quality seems high and the features for such an inexpensive product are pretty good if it holds up like it says it will.
