Kaytee Pet Bird EZ Care Floor Activity Center - Small

I ordered the small size unit, and it is the PERFECT size for my Quaker Parrot. I wouldn't order the small size for a bird any bigger than a quaker or a Sun Conure. I also think a small parakeet might have a hard time getting from the ladder to the top perch. The unit was fairly easy to assemble, even with a 2 year old butting in the entire time. A lot of the reviews said that the metal was warped and didnt line up with the holes properly, my unit didn't have that issue, but I can see how that could easily be an issue since the metal could be bent fairly easily. My item also came with "upgraded" food/water dishes that are stainless steel instead of the ceramic, I was pleasantly surprised! My little guy loves to hang out in the living room with us, and its nicr to get him out of the cage without having to worry about him making a mess or getting into things he shouldn't. The only thing I dislike about the unit is that my bird loves to climb to the edge and hangout on thr seed guard. I don't think it's a flaw in the design, just a goofy habit my bird has. Overall I wouls highly recommend this playground for small/medium bird owners, the price is great, and it is very good quality.

I got this for my two parakeets. It's taken them a couple of weeks to start using it, but they're gradually getting used to it and making it their home away from home. They prefer the upper portion of the playstand, so I wrapped the top wire with jute cord so they could get a grip and perch comfortably on it. I also wrapped the perch and the swing with jute. I know they'd like the stand better if it were taller, so I tied a couple of long branches to the sides of the stand, which they like a lot.The playstand is very sturdy, and it has lots of places to hang toys and clip treats and greens. It wheels around easily, and the tray is great for catching fallout. The bare metal is slippery for little bird feet, and the wooden perches are too large for little birds. I've added lots of rope and wood ladders and I've strung cotton rope for lots of perching options. The food dishes are mostly useless; they're too big for food and too small for a bathtub.My shipment arrived quickly from an Amazon seller, but the box was delivered pretty banged up and taped together. The only part of the playstand that was damaged was the plastic tray, which I've glued back together. Assembly went smoothly, and the instructions were clear enough. The stand looks like it will last for years.

i just got this today and i already love it, and so does my cockatiel.when i opened the box nothing was broken and all the pieces were there. set up was very easy, we did it in about 10 minutes and barely used the directions (which were good compared to some of the directions companies will send to you).my only real issues are that the food bowls are huge. this is not a problem for my bird, she can still get to her food and water fine, it just looks a little awkward. i plan on finding replacements that are a tad more shallow although it isnt really necessary. you will def. want to find new bowls if this is for budgies, as im pretty sure they would not be able to reach the bottom like a cockatiel or conure would.that, and i took off the thin side bar next to the ladder. it is to hang toys on i believe, but my bird wanted to stand on it and that would not be good for her feet at all.overall, i would recommend this. its a great way for your bird to be near you with out being all over YOU constantly, and all the faults are minor and fixable.

Most God awful thing I have ever put together. Pieces don't fit together, have to bend and hammer to make fit. If you value your sanity don't bother with this garbage.

I think the perches are a little large for parakeets even though the description says it is for parakeets. We already put it together so we are going to see if they get more used to it. It's nice though and arrived promptly.

This is the perfect sized playground for a green cheek conure, sun conure or other similar sized bird. My green cheek goes all over it and loves having toys hanging everywhere. It was fairly easy to assemble and is sturdy. I would have preferred the cups be placed at the top though. I keep it near her cage so she can go play on it whenever she wants and it's easy to wheel from room to room so she can stay near me. It was hard to find a playground that the perches were sized for smaller feet.

this bird play ground is very versatile.It is good for many types of birds.good quality and easy to move around.also it was a snap to put toghether in 5 minutes, it good when you want your best friend with you all around the house.It is especially good when i use my computer to keep me hands free.thank you for a good quality product at a fair price.\ Tina, from maine

I have 2 cockatiels and 1 parakeet. About 4 yrs ago I had gotten an expensive special-made heavy-duty wood play gym that the birds LOVED; so much that when we'd go on vacation, the gym went with them to the sitter. That gym broke recently and we just couldn't afford to buy another one just like it so we searched for something similar that wasn't too expensive. The Super Pet EZ Care Activity Center seemed reasonable and had all the extras that our old gym had. It arrived within a couple of days (on standard shipping direct from Amazon) and the box was in great condition.It was easy to assemble, and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The positioning of the food dishes seems to be ideal because, so far, they haven't ended up with bird poop in them from when the birds are perched above. I find the storage shelf underneath unnecessary for me; might be useful for someone else. It took the birds a bit to get used to this new set up but after a day, our birds fell in love with it! It's easy to move around so it should be a breeze to transport the couple of times in the year when the birds go to the sitter. The only negative I found was that although it has a bottom plastic tray, it doesn't come with a wire rack above the tray. However, I'm able to put bedding, wood chips, hay, grass, and seeds for them to forage through and the scatter guard prevents it from ending up all over my floor. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and my birds are happy.

This is perfect for my African Grey. He was a bit tentative the first day, but was soon playing all over it. I had read several reviews that stated how difficult it was to put together but that it was still worth purchasing because it was so wonderful. I decided to take a chance on it and I am so glad that I did. It really is wonderful. It is handy to move from room to room - my African Grey loves to be close to his humans. It took about 1 hour to put together so maybe I just got lucky and got an easy one, but even if it would have taken longer, it would have been worth it. My only "wish" is that the food and water bowls could stir higher up because they get lots of droppings from his toys et al.

My Amazon grey loves this activity centre. The only thing we are thinking about adding is wood on the top perch so it is easier on her feet
