The very first thing I checked were the two USB-A plugs, and neither worked. I flipped the switch to power the strip off, waited a couple minutes, then turned it back on. Then the USB-A plugs started working. I reached back out to Anker support in the evening on Thursday 2/5/2026 and told them what happened. I told them that I do not believe this can not be an isolated incident as it's happened to two of the same model, only difference being that with the new one it happened immediately, but with the first one it was about four months before any issues arose. I also asked if they could either replace with a different, less expensive power strip that will hopefully not have this issue. I just heard back from Anker support this evening, 2/7/2026. They said: "we will arrange for a replacement model A9183 to be provided to you, based on your needs. However, our Quality Engineers have requested to have the troubled device returned to them so that they may investigate the origin of the defect to improve our product. Any replacement process will only commence after the inspection is completed and the contents of the package are verified. Once your replacement is shipped, you should receive it within 5-7 working days." I'm on the east coast, this is going to Cali via USPS. I'm guessing I'll be getting a different power strip in March. For those wondering, "if you just need to power off the strip and power it back up, whats the issue".
