I have been doing a Latin dance workout for 3 months on carpet, searching everywhere for something to make it easier to move and to not strain my knees and ankles. Luckily a friend finally came through and told me about these shoe covers that make moving during my workout a breeze! The first day I used them all of a sudden I was moving better, performing the workout with a better full range of motion, and the best NO KNEE PAIN!!! I can't go a day without using these amazing shoe covers. They are great quality and hold up extremely well during my 45-1hr workouts. I use them 6 days a week and for a few weeks now. They don't slide off my shoe, they stay in place, and I will never go without these ever again! If you are looking for something to help you move on carpet, I HIGHLY recommend you purchase this item! The seller was even extra attentive, offering me help if I needed quickly after delivery and to make sure I was satisfied. If you are on the fense, just buy them!!!

This may sound strange but I wear these shoe covers on my shoes when I sleep. I have a form of neuropathy. I wear a soft sneaker which compresses my feet and keeps them from hurting. The rubber on the shoe bottom catches on the cover and I have a problem moving my feet. I ordered a pair of these dance shoe covers and they work beautifully. My foot glides through the cover and doesn’t get caught. They are perfect for me. Thank you so much.

I bought these to fit over tennis shoes since I was attending a weekend dance retreat and knew I would be in classes many hours a day and have evening social dances. I wear a men's size 8.5 and they comfortably fit over the shoes. My first reaction was they were way to slippery to wear on wood floors. You can see in the video (sorry for the poor angle) that they EASILY slid around on the floors. My first class was a west coast swing class and I had to remove them because I was simply sliding around too much. I tried them again but decided to walk around in them on the carpet and various surfaces. Once they had some dust on them they were better, but still pretty slippery. I wore them for most of the workshops but not the evening dances because of that 'too slippery' reason. Someone suggested some hairspray, but I'm bald and didn't have any! I will wash them and see if that helps. If it does, I'll post an update here. Women who saw them liked that they covered the shoe and looked 'less obvious' then some of the other dance 'socks' or shoe covers they saw at this event.

The quality of these shoe covers is so much better than what I've experienced before, specifically with the DS brand! They last! I work out in them every single day and the DS covers had holes in the bottom of them after a few weeks. Because of this, I bought 2 pairs of PS Athletic Shoe Covers so that I wouldn't have to wait when the first pair wore out. I'm STILL using the first pair! These are amazingly sturdy and they allow you to spin on carpet when dancing or exercising with YouTube videos or whatever you do. Highly recommend!

I work out on a large exercise mat, mostly to various Beach Body programs and other dance videos. Some moves were hard to do because sneakers don't slide so well on the mat. I'd been thinking about these types of covers for a while, and finally purchased -- and I wish I had bought them sooner. They make the twisty-type moves much easier, yet for non-twisty moves, I don't feel at all like I'm going to slip, which I had been concerned about. The only drawback is that they are snug over my sneakers (size 9-1/2), which makes my sneakers feel like they're a bit tight. I'm assuming they'll stretch out a bit over time and this will be less of an issue. I've only had them for a week, so I can't comment on durability, but assuming they last at least several months, that replacement schedule wouldn't bother me -- same as replacing my sneakers.

I was struggling to get a good workout doing Zumba on my rug during quarantine. These are awesome! A bit slippery at first, but once I got dancing I forgot I was on carpet. I had a great workout with these and no longer feel the strain on my knees and hips. Highly recommend for those of us working out in carpeted living rooms these days. My only complaint is they're a bit hot, small price to pay.

I use these for practicing Wing Chun Kung Fu in my home, which is mostly carpeted. In Leung Sheung Wing Chun, many of the moves require that you effectively shift your weight and direction through the center of your foot - meaning that your feet must be able to turn and slide without too much resistance or you will soon start to feel a "shearing force" in your knees and ankles. Ideally, Wing Chun would be practiced on wood or tile, where traditional cotton-soled kung fu shoes will work. However, Kung Fu shoes will not slide or turn on carpet. Thus the need for these shoe covers. They were generally effective, but wore out quickly. They are not as sturdy as the "DanceShoes" that can also be bought on this site. My feeling is that the PS shoe cover is actually a lower-quality copy of the DS Shoe Cover (DanceShoes). The markings are similar, but the DS shoe covers are a made of a heavier material that slides better. So, while these worked ok for about a month, they soon developed holes and frays on the sides and bottom which prevented them from being as effective as the DanceShoes.

Since I purchased these PS Athletic Shoe Covers for Dancing (1 pair, 2 Socks), Socks Over Shoes, Overshoes for Sneakers, I use them a few times a week. I have carpet where I use them when workouts inside. I am guessing the shape of your shoe makes a difference in how it covers. These are worn over my shoes and do not cover over the toe area very well. The material sticks in the front like the look of elves shoes. However, they are still fine and fit well enough to use them. I am very happy to have them for use on carpet. The price was reasonable and they have worn well. However, if I used them more frequently, I am not sure they would still be usable. I have seen strings of black cloth, however, I can’t figure out where it is coming from. I have certainly got my monies worth.

SMOOTH TWISTS AND TURNS! - Whether you have carpet or hard floors, our socks are going to smooth out your twists and turns. Well, they certainly didn't help on my carpeted floors nor even on a vinyl laminate floor. I used them on boat shoes which to tend to be non-slip but were no more 'slippy' with these socks. Back to my old pair with shiny tape stuck to the soles.

Perfect for wearing over my runners and I can do Zumba with ease on carpet.

I recently ordered and received a pair of PS Athletic dance socks. I was delighted with the product and quickly adapted to using them at my weekly Milongas. But I soon found that a fault was developing in the left sock which caused me some concern and disappointment. I refer you to the photos attached. Consequently, I have now stopped using them in fear that the left sock will give way during dancing and leave me stranded on the floor. I just thought people would be interested in the feedback.

Used to cover my dance sneakers for ease of movement whilst dance exercising on carpet only used a few times already has a hole in one! A shame they seemed to do the job?

These work great but they are not very durable - it’s easy to dance a hole in them.
