Meets All Expectations
I currently work for a company specializing in filming sporting events in various venues ranging from Basketball courts to Football Fields, some days we are left short staffed and will live stream with only a single main cam for viewers at home. Since my employer's business grew to larger partnerships with more national streaming services, I felt odd about filming singular shot sporting events at that level and decided to look into remote tripods as a "possible" optional fill-in for missing staff.Soonpho's M-4 Model is my first time working with such equipment and it's been a very positive experience thus far.The M-4 is definitely the best value for Money as it offers higher Tilt Proformance then both its M-2 and M-6 counter parts. while still allowing for smooth 360 panning. It's adjustable speed option, (while not helpful below 8 while filming sports) works on all levels when shooting solo film projects or YouTube Videos. Its compact design adapts well with most tripods and Tripod plates and offers a slight additional Height boost when filming projects in small offices, or while filming on unusual platforms such as when filming on top of a desk, etc. etc. The weight was a concern at first, but it seems to work just fine with Tripods ranging from cheaper $30 SLIK u-112 models to more expensive $130 NEEWER GM88 Tripods.I found it took no more than 30 minutes to break in and have a full understanding of how it functions, figuring out when applying what settings or course of speed will depend on what type of project you're filming and that can add up to several more hour of tinkering with it.Finally (a major selling point for me) was that it does offer more then 60 feet of real time Wireless control, I found it easily picked up my remote when sending the signal up more than 50 feet of stairs from a football field below and from one end of a 45ft wide media box to the other end, picking up the signal though, wood, dry wall and concrete. So, while not the best product when working in sports broadcasting due to its limited control speed, it's the best value model-wise, it easily adapts to various tripod models and is even easier to pick up and get a hang of it, allows for smooth Panning and offers a strong remote-control signal when needing to adjust it from a distance. While I can only really use it in sports to capture cover shots, such as team huddles, it provides my team with a secondary option when wanting to maintain a higher production value and for that it meets all expectations!

no issues
Works perfect. i had to modify mine as my cameras flip out lcd is on one side and the cable connections are on the other making my camera too wide. i was able to unbolt the "L" style mount and flip it upside down so the camera sits over the device. works great like this.

Under powered, under constructed
For a light weight camera it's fine. Quite, fairly quick though not fast. Near it's one pound limit it's lacking. The back lash in the gears gets obvious as does it's under powering. It's all plastic and I doubt it would survive rough handling. I suspect the gears are also plastic. It works well enough for half of what I needed it for. I would not buy it again.

HOW TO LOSE YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU BUY ON AMAZON
Very disappointed in this product SCONPHO M-4 almost impossible to follow the instruction for set up. There seem to be another model if you want to call it that, the M-6 and when I try to follow on YouTube how to manually guide myself nothing was clear. Disappointed is a mild word for how I feel because I did not and will not get the pleasure to get it to work and my money back because I have pass the time limit for refund of my money. I think Amazon should take the product back and get my money back from the supplier, Amazon are the one who are vetting the supplier.

Plate wobble and no integrated usb power port solution
After owning this product for over a year now, I'd say it's been a great piece of equipement. I use this on top of a 15 foot tripod to record parades, concerts and recitals. Paired with a wireless hdmi unit and lanc. Means I don't have to run wires down my tripod. My biggest dislike has been the wobble between the top and bottom plates which causes video bouncing. I think this is also the reason why they have the weight limit they have. I use a cannon vixia g50 which is well within the limits, so thewobble shouldn't be an issue. However I just created a spacer plate that eliminated that issue. So with that improvement I'd probably say the product is a 4.5 star. I also integrated a usb power port for the wireless hdmi. Excuse the sloppy usb work, i was in a hurry and didn't want to take the unit apart and do a cleaner job. Might buy a second using and do a cleaner job.
