Great tool to have when servicing your brakes

I purchased the Vacuum Pump for home vacuum sealing of jars. We like to freeze dry foods and put dry goods in jars with either oxygen absorbers or desiccant packs. The Vacuum Pump creates a very good vacuum, so much so that the lids can be hard to pull off, which is great. Some vacuum systems are bad about not creating a hard vacuum, and we have had some lids come loose. We have high hopes that this Vacuum Pump will eliminate almost all of these problems.We did not need the case, so we just tossed it. We need space more than case.We put the Vacuum Pump in with our other vacuum equipment, and are happy with it to date.

Saw this on a canning show it's a great idea when you have no power and you're trying to finish canning your products or sealing any product where you don't have power.

Pump works, little disappointed with the 90° vacuum fittings. None of them would fit my bleeder screw, they were all too big. The vehicle was a 96 Dodge truck. I try using the hose directly to the bleeder, while it worked a little better it was still not a tight fit. I suggest that they offer a better selection of fittings to connect to the bleeder screws. Nice little case, nice vacuum pump that will hold vacuum, providing you can get a good tight seal.

Great product easy to use made bleeding brakes a breeze was basically able to do the majority of the brake job by myself

Tried to use this to bleed my brakes on my 2009 Mercury Mariner but just could not get it to work. The adapters would not get a good seal on the bleeder screw. I also tried to put a small amount of grease to the outside of the bleeder but it did not seal. When I would try to pump it to 600 mmHg the plastic tubes would start to crush in on itself and when I finally opened the screw it just sucked a bunch of air because to poor connection. I even tried to zip tie the tube directly to the bleeder and it still didn't work. This may have been related to the bleeder screw allowing air through the threads and some people online said to put Teflon tape around the screws but I was so frustrated I just decided to bleed them manually.It seemed like the tubes were too wide compared to the volume of the vacuum because it lost pressure almost immediately after barely opening the bleeder. I also didn't have much room to try to fit the rubber adapter over the bleeder on my drum breaks. When I tried to put it on the bleeder I couldn't fit the wrench on the nut to open it (again I believe this was related to the rubber adapter being too big to fit correctly on the bleeder...even though I was using the smallest one in the kit).Good to see this works for many other people...but I just saw no way to make it work with my car.

Changing your own brakes, then you should have this to bleed your brake lines. Eliminates needing a second person to push the brake pedal.

Priced well looks good in pictures but the actual product quality was disappointing. Unfortunately the pump either was not working or had a leak.The carry case, product itself, finishing has a lot room for improvement.
