Helped my subwoofer get enough signal to turn it on.
Iโm using this in line with my soundbarโs sub output (which had a very weak signal). It worked nicely to boost the audio signal so the sub now works as it should. We use our soundbar for movies, but often just for streaming music too (Bluetooth, Pandora, etc). Unfortunately, the soundbarโs sub output was super weak. Before, my soundbarโs sub output signal was so weak, it often wouldnโt even turn the subwoofer on (itโs an auto-on subwoofer that powers on when it senses an audio signal). And when it worked, the sub signal was so weak, it sounded like there was no subwoofer at all, even when the subwooferโs volume was all the way up. You had to get right next to it to even know it was doing anything. Putting this in line between my soundbarโs RCA output and my subwooferโs RCA input boosted the signal perfectly so I can now hear the subwoofer nicely. The volume knob on the subwoofer now will go from relatively quiet to full dance party mode. I had no issues with the โhumโ that others have mentioned. Itโs as quiet as can be, and I donโt even have the optional ground wire hooked up. It does have a ground wire connection on it, so connecting that to the chassis of your stereo, turntable, subwoofer, etc, would likely eliminate much of the hum people have mentioned (Iโve had hum issues on my other stereo and a ground wire connecting all the audio componentsโ chassis together solved it). Iโd definitely recommend this if your system is sending a low level signal to another component that just doesnโt have enough uumph to get the audio levels that it should be getting.

Nice little preamp...
Does a great job for the price. I needed simple and effective and this little preamp delivers. Great buy for a starting setup.

Works perfectly
If youโre trying to get your turntable to play on something you need a pre amp and this device mated with a Bluetooth transmitter allowed me to bypass the Sonos $500 device and I finally have my turn table hooked to my Sonos system

Be aware of what you need.
It turns out I didn't need this unit. When I first connected it the sound was horrible and after trying some steps to isolate the problem I determined that the new pre-amp was the source of the distortion. I returned the unit and got a replacement the next day. It was only later that I learned that the turntable has a built in pre-amp and I was overdriving the aux input. This pre-amp wasn't the problem at all. I'm sorry to have put them to the trouble of replacing it, but there was nothing in the instructions stating that this might be the case. Be aware of this and check your turntable for a gain switch. That being said, I tried it with the turntable pre-amp turned off and the sound was clear and the level acceptable. If you actually need a turntable pre-amp this is a great one for the price.

So far so good
Looks great and very well-made. Haven't plugged it in yet. I'll leave a further review if needed but I suspect it will do the job just fine. My only comment is: Why didn't they include a stereo RCA M-M cable in the package? In China this would probably have cost them 25 cents to include. But no stars removed for this - I have a cable around and the listing did not say it came with one. So: many thanks for this product!

Somewhat Garbage ๐๏ธ
I thought this would be an amazing addition to my turntable setup, but I was pretty disappointed. It creates a lot of static, and it actually ends up degrading the sound quality instead of improving it. The price is almost too good to be true, and I will say the build quality is nice and it's very easy to set up. I just wish it performed better at what it's supposed to do. Unfortunately, the static makes it hard to recommend.

Spinning my old albums !
Found my 1979 turntable in the attic and it still worked. Needed to adapt phono level output of the player to line level input of my home theater system. This pre-amp did the trick. It was simple to connect and my records sound awesome.
