One problem I had with the original band that came with the watch was that after a few months, the plastic ridges would start to break and wear down from daily use. The Hemsut band, however, is not only more comfortable but also feels much more secure. The Velcro is very strong, and I’ve never worried about it coming loose. I’ve taken it sailing several times, and it always feels secure, even in those conditions. I wear my watch almost 24/7, only taking it off to shower or charge, and there are no signs of wear at all.
