Or is it a one time** A: Yes it has to refill to the top sensor so it can recycle, also if water level goes way below sensor when it reboots it will only pump 3 times then red light comes back on so unplug and plug back in so it can pump remainder water to reach level you might have to do this several times( i hope not) usually once is sufficient, hope this helps. **Q: Can I use it on a 40 gal ?** A: Yes, it will work fine. **Q: Will this still work if I put a longer tube on it?** A: Sure **Q: How do you install hose clamp on a rimmed tank?** A: Just rotate it.
