Perfect match!

I was able to buy a a sewing machine at the thrift store for $4.99 because it came without a cord. I borrowed a friend's cord to take to the store in order to test the machine. Once I found it worked I looked to see if I could buy just the replacement cord. Amazon to the rescue again! It fits my old Singer 2517 machine

My machine failed to work: I could make only few slow stitches within several seconds.The "pedal problem" was my first guess, and it was correct guess.It has somewhat loose fit into machine. But I need it right now and don't have time for replacement.I am not even sure it is possible.As long as nothing touches the plug, it stays in place so far.Thank you.
