Q: Does your hair stay soft?

No. The next day it softens up but the first day...not at all.

Q: Mine comes out of the bottle as a liquid not a mousse. Suggestions?

Mine does the same. Not a fan of this product, will not purchase this again.

Q: Does this help hold curls for hair that is normally straight but curled with an iron?

I haven’t tried it, my hair is naturally wavy and I usually use it on wet hair. It does have a strong hold and may be leave a white flaky residue if you dry and curl your hair.

Yes it does. If you comb it though,it doesn't look wet anymore.
