Fenwick HMX Salmon/Steelhead Spinning Fishing Rod

The weight and balance are perfect for me and paired with my phluger president reel, I had the best season yet.

I love this rod. Quality made and handled to NW steelhead and salmon action just fine. Very durable so if your a river runner like me it can handle getting through all the brush and junk on the way to the next hole on a river. I am currently pairing this with a Okuma Ceymar 40 series and seems to be pretty well balanced. Reel seat is quality and have had no issues of slippage while fighting fish. Would definitely recommend this rod.

I was impressed how fast it came but most of all the packing was done very well so no eyes were destroyed. I have used fENWICK FOR YEARS. I love the way this handles and will continue to use Fenwick poles.

Love this pole I have owned many fenwicks poles most every pole I fish with is a fenwick I bought this pole for fishing at pyramid lake for big cucutthrot trout it is perfect can cast it a long ways has great fell biggest fish so far on this pole is 8.3 lbs i will be getting another one soon

i use this for catfishing, I can cast farther and it has a good hookset.

Bought this rod for Steelhead fishing at Lake Erie. It’s a little faster action than my 10’6 cortland rod. I find the Fenwick most useful for casting spoons at the mouth of the creeks. Or jigging. And the cortland for drifting single eggs or shiners on small hooks.

exceptional sensitivity in feeling your bait and very good hook setting. handled an 8 pound kamaloop rainbow very well. its my second fenwick rod and i am very satisfied with my purchase. looking ahead to use it for steelhead in the future.

Landed 20+ king salmon on this rod in northern michigan. Used 15 lb maxima line with a 12lb leader.

The rod came missing half the blank .. pain in the ass now I have to wait for replacement ?
