Hex Trap Bar, Specialty Barbell with Rotating Tri-Grip Handles in 30mm, 38mm, and 45mm Diameter, Fits Bumper Plates and Weight Plates with 2" Insert

I'm always nervous ordering on Amazon, especially with workout equipment. But this is a solid trap bar. It is very well-constructed, feels heavy duty. It is also nice and spacious from front to back, which is great if you plan on using for Farmer's Walks. I am 6'1" and I can do walks with no fear of hitting my legs off the front or back. The triple handles are great and they, too, seem to be at the perfect distance apart for someone my size doing deadlifts. I was considering ordering a regular trap bar, but glad I didn't. This is much better. Took a little bit of time to assemble, but the instructions were very clear and there's a youtube video that walks you through it as well.

This trap bar is a beast. Very sturdy and the adjustable handles are terrific. There’s some slight natural pressure on the handles which allows them to move easily, but not in their own. I would purchase again, but I don’t think I’ll ever have to

We use this badboy all the time! It’s solid, built right, definitely made to go the distance. We have a very nice home gym and this piece of equipment helps us get stronger safely. It was easy to assemble right out of the box. I put it together in about 30 minutes. My wife and daughter feed very comfortable using it as well. Quality product. Well designed. Holds three 45lb weights on each side with ease. The three grips add versatility. Buy it.

The bar takes up a lot of space not sure if you can really tell that in the picture so if you are limited on space take that into account. Also, the directions suck! They put everything basically on 2 or 3 pages with lines going everywhere very confusing rather than just breaking it down step by step. Also, all the bolts come together in a card board package and non of them are labeled but in the picture on the directions (or what you can make out in the picture) they are. It's very complicating to someone that is not good at magivering things I figured it out in about 45 minutes by doing the math of what bolts I had and how many holes needed big bolts. Also, the red arms that hold the weights are painted and it must be cheap it's chipping off already from shipping and that's disappointing Also the handles do pivot but not like super easy so I had to looses the bolts back up being there is no torque spec and the directions leave you wondering how tight to make stuff I would buy again but these are obstacles your gonna face... also there is no pamphlet like any other piece of exercise equipment comes with to show you hot to lift with this piece of equipment or different things you can do with this so that was disappointing. Also the bars where weights slide on and off are grooved not smooth and there isn't much of a stopped and it doesn't co.e with clamps to hold the weights on for the money it should.

I bought this bar due to the convenient design. I hate having to prop up the bar to exchange the weight.For the general design, I give it 5 start. It's not that complicated to put together, but the instructions are pretty useless. Comes with very rudimentary, but usable tools so you don't have to buy any tools. But, if you have a ratchet set, it will save you 30 minutes of assembling time. I used the ratchet and it took 30 minutes to get everything together. The design is very nice. You can load and unload bumper plates without propping a side up. You also have a choice of 3 grip sizes on a freely rotating handle.Material quality..I'd give it 3 stars. The paint is uneven and of low quality. The burling of the grip is ugly. The welds are ugly but look adequate. And the whole thing is made in China.Functionally it works well. But I give it 3 stars only because there is too much play in the rotating handles. Just too much slop back and forth. When I was putting it all together, one thought that keep recurring is that I'm glad I'm not that strong because I do not have confident how well this would hold up. When I went back to the Amazon description and saw that it's rated at 750 lbs, I really think that's too optimistic. Look, the rotaing handles rotate on an M8 bold on each side, bolted to pretty thin metal. Maybe it'd hold up to 750 lbs, but probably would not do well for long if you regularly use it near it's limit. I only use it up to 350 lbs or so for me it's OK.Overall it's an excellent design for it's convenient features. But if you're a really strong lifter, you may want to get a look at it for yourself before buying.

This Trap Bar eliminates some of the problems with traditional Trap Bars. First, loading plates is a breeze with the elevated bars. No more needing to hold one end of the trap bar with one hand while working to slide the Olympic plate onto the bar with the other. Another somewhat annoying issue corrected is hand placement when lifting the bar. Traditional Trap bars require exact centered hand placement to ensure good balance and wrist comfort. The Grips on the XMark bar eliminates this problem and even adds a choice of 3 different diameters for better grip and forearm development. I also seem to get more depth in my deadlifts. I am extremely pleased with the XMark Trap bar! One note to others thinking about purchasing this Bar. Be ready to do some work putting it together. You should be able to assemble it in 60-90 minutes. It seems like a lot of screws and bolts but its solid when completed.
