can deliver high current without lowering voltage.

can actually deliver 5V @ 6A without getting hot. Many other similar devices lower the voltage to achieve current. this one doesn't. I also like having screw terminals which makes wiring easier.

Great Bucks

"DWEII 2-Pack 12V to 5V Converter, DC 12V 24V to 5V 10A Step Down Converter" Now have LED Lighting installed and load right around 8Amps with supplied output of 5.16vdc. Buck converters are tolerating load with ambient temp of around 85-90 °F, and perhaps 3 degrees higher on case temp. 10A model is performing great, also picked up a pair of 15A as well, just in case.
