This is such a fun thing for kids to do. Comes with instructions so they can do it themselves.

My 12-year-old Grandson has been receiving these kits for some time, and enjoys them very much. The most recent is the Slime kit, and he's having a lot of fun with it. His Mom says the only problem was trying to keep it from my Granddaughter. I guess I'll have to start sending kits to her, as well, LOL...

Calling this a slime kit is a little misleading. This does not make ooey gooey slime with glue but rather uses sodium alginate and calcium chloride to make "slimy", gummy blobs and colored worms. Sodium alginate comes from seaweed and forms a gel-like substance when dropped in a solution of calcium chloride. There are 6 experiments making slimy, gummy things. All of the experiments using the sodium alginate and calcium chloride worked out really well and my kids enjoyed making gummy worms, slimy "coal" and blue blood. There are 2 experiments using guar gum to make play dough and a bouncing ball. The guar gum simply dissolved in warm water did not really turn into play dough. And the guar gum crazy bouncing balls did not bounce at all until I poured 1/2 teaspoon of saline contact lens solution over the balls to activate the polymers, firming them up. I really liked the instruction booklet that came with this. Each experiment is written in easy to understand manner. Plus, at the the bottom of each page, is an explanation of why each experiment worked.The only ingredients you need to supply are milk and flour. A fun, educational kit that my 8 & 10 year old enjoyed doing.

This is fun pack. Bought it for my young one who loves slime and also likes to do experiments. Kept him engaged. Totally worth the money and highly recommended.

My granddaughter was so excited to work on her experiment but found that the kit was missing a key ingredient - sodium alginate. I hope that the seller will help resolve this unfortunate error.Otherwise the kit had nice looking supplies and good instructions. She was inspired.

I cannot say enough about this science kit. My grandkids ages 10 and 8 LOVE this. Fun and educational. A win win.

Products arrived in good condition. I reviewed the contents and feel that our grandchildren will be delighted with all the possibilities allowed by this kit. The kits are a Christmas gift.
