When this company first came up with this product early last year and had only a couple of reviews, these blankets were of excellent quality. Fleece was lush and soft on both sides that when you ran your hand back and forth over it, you could see how dense it was. The waterproof barrier inside did not rustle and was not stiff; fleece remained soft and blanket overall remained new-looking even after countless washings and drying on low. Photos uploaded by another customer with a kitty lying down shows how these blankets USED to be.However, as soon as these blankets became popular on Amazon, their quality significantly declined. First, color changed from beautiful CHOCOLATE/KHAKI to CHOCOLATE/CAPPUCINO. Shortly after that. fleece went from dense lush, soft to thin (you now see lines throughout the fleece), sparse (you can now see the clear plastic inside of the blanket if you somewhat fold the blanket and hold it to the light at a certain angle) and stiff all while price remaining the same.Having assumed the quality was the same, I had purchased more of these blankets to give away as Christmas gifts this year only to return all of them for a refund. One of the blankets rustled like a plastic bag right out of package. I would be back to buy more ONLY IF they go back to the original quality.

We really like this blanket. We keep it in the master, to ensure the bed stays dry after our interpersonal encounters; it works great. No moisture gets through but it doesn’t feel uncomfortable like plastic underneath us. The texture is soft, luxurious even. I’m surprised the company isn’t marketing it to couples. Very pleased with this purchase.

For a couple of years I would buy tarps and shower curtains to shield my bed from cat puke. My cat is a puker. He has allergies. I think he's actually allergic to his own spit. He throws up a lot. Often watery puke. It wasn't just the inconvenience of having to remake the bed , sometimes hours after having made it, and needing to buy bedspreads that wouldn't stain, and putting towels over the pillows in case it leaked through, I worried about the puke sitting all day and sinking onto my mattress. (Is this tmi?)So, yeah, at night I'd peel off the two shower curtains I spent about $3.00 a week on shower curtains when the supermarket had the 2 for three dollar ones and more when they didn't. and $15.00 a month on painter's tarps because they'd rip the curtains with their claws and be far less moisture proof. And instead of making my bed in the morning and coming home to an inviting bed, I came home to a bed covered in vinyl.I saw this blanket and thought, if that works, it could be great. When a family member asked what I wanted for a present, I asked for this blanket,. They got me the one in grey and white. It was soft and silky and just delicious. It was also truly waterproof. No more shower curtains. I had a bed like a real person again.Full disclosure, it does cover a queen bed, but only just, so if the cat moves part of the blanket, or throws up on the side of the bed, there are spaces left uncovered. To that end I got a second blanket. The one I'd gotten in gray and white wasn't available, so I got this one, It would be better if they were the same color, but I can cover the one side of the mattress and bring it almost to cover the other side which is protected by the other blanket.So, it was an expensive endeavor, but figure I was spending almost $30 a month so it will be recouped quickly.They wash beautifully. They feel wonderful. They look great. They made my bed nice again.

I bought the Large size (60x84) and it covers the top of my queen bed perfectly. The dog has already had an accident on it, and I didn't notice it until I took the throw off the bed at bedtime -- not one drop had seeped through the material! I put it in the washer and dryer the next day, and it came out perfect. I'm amazed by this throw, and amazed by the seller, who sent me a surprise partial refund due to decreased export fees -- who DOES that? This seller does, and I'm so grateful you ship to Canada.

This throw is amazing! My cat has recently started peeing on my couch for no apparent reason and I've already gone through the tedious process of removing, washing, and replacing the cushion covers. One got torn in the washer so now I can't even flip it over. I was considering getting one of those couch covers, but they're ugly, bulky, and not easy to take on and off. This throw blanket is everything I needed and works perfectly. It isn't heavy, looks and feels like a normal throw, and is easy to throw on or take off the couch. I've been keeping it on the couch and just folding it over or tossing it on the back of the sofa when I sit. It keeps the sofa clean and hair-free and is great for when the dog jumps on with dirty paws. Most importantly, it holds liquid. I came out to a puddle in the throw and there was NO leak or hint of moisture on the couch underneath. That is exactly what I'd hoped for and I'm really happy with this blanket. Highly recommend.

First of all, I have a 12 year old lab who has seizures and lets everything out when she has a seizure. The blankets are totally waterproof, nothing will leak through them although we have never let it sit more than a few min before washing. This blanket has been a life saver for our carpet and her dog bed having to be washed in the middle of the night. That being said, the blanket is totally not absorbent at all, liquids just flow off of it which creates other issues. We now place a towel on top of the blanket and it works to prevent the kiwis from flowing off while also protecting the carpet and her bed from having to be stripped and washed. I came back and bought 3 more. Expensive, yes but totally worth it!

This throw is wonderful. My dog is 15 years old and she is having some incontinence issues when she first wakes up. We had to throw out her bed and have the carpet cleaned. I bought her a new bed and I place one of these blankets on the bed and the other in front of the bed. Nothing has passed thru these blankets. I can just fold them up, pour out the contents in the yard and toss them in the wash. I bought two sets so that I always have one to use when the other two are in the washing machine.

Very soft and waterproof. This throw is perfect for puppies. I do recommend this blanket.

Finally a pet blanket that is waterproof like it says! I bought these for all of my furniture. One of my aging cats occasionally has some flare ups of a urinary problem and these blankets have definitely protected my furniture. They’re expensive, but worth it. I highly recommend this product!

Excellent cover for the couch or car seat
