With that being said , Verizon Wireless has been extremely slow to respond to the growth so has all of the other companies which brings me to our dilemma . Even though we installed a Verizon provided extender which did help in the house our service is NOT acceptable , dropped calls & at times poor quality (can you hear me now) . So because of the cellphone issues & not much help other then the extender plus 2 emails to the state agency about bad service did we install a landline . Hence the purchase of these phones . Don't spend enough time on the phone to give much more of a review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great customer service *by B***L on August 4, 2022* This was my original 1 star review: My 90 year old Dad had an earlier VTech phone system that had a problem where periodically the audio would stop working. My Dad would make a call and he could hear the other person but the called person could not hear him. VTech advised us to unplug the main unit and then disconnect the battery in each of the handsets, wait a couple of minutes, and then plug everything back in. That was kind of annoying so we bought a new set of VTech phones for him, this time the VTECH VS112-3. Unfortunately this system periodically does the exact same thing! Every other month or so the audio stops working and we have to unplug the main unit and disconnect the battery in each handset. After plugging everything back in the audio works fine. VTech tech support told us that they have never heard of this problem with this model. They had us send them the system so they could study the problem. They sent us a replacement system and it has the exact same problem! Every couple of months the audio stops working and my 90 year old dad has to go through the reset steps described above. It is really not acceptable. We should have returned them when it first happened. Why did I upgrade it to 4 stars? Vtech customer service escalated the issue and replaced the phone system.
