They work only to mirror image not to transmit sound. For that you may need a 'Miracast' capable device.

Worked good expect i hear static at times

Didn't work for me. Bought so I could watch a video played on my phone (Netflix, etc.) on my tv. Hooked up fine, tv recognized device, and I got the mirror image of my phone on screen. But once you press play, nothing plays. Disconnected device and video played fine....

Worked right out of the package! Power cord was a little short, but luckily, I had a USB extension cord. Very happy with it and would buy it again!Update: used it twice. Went to use it again a few months later and it doesn't work. Can't get past the setup screen. Has power and is in a verified working HDMI port. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the EZcast app the company recommended in the included paperwork. Nothing worked. Think it's out of warranty but will definitely try to return it!!!

I may change this review if I can get technical support and figure a couple issues out. The EZCast app is not intuitive and I don't see the settings that are described. Lots of trial and error but here's what I've got so far. My iphone 6 works with Netflix but only has captions and sound with Amazon Prime video (no video just black screen). My brand new ipad mini only has captions and sound with netflix (no video). My brand new Asus Android tablet works fine with Amazon Prime but with Netflix only shows a large grey filmstrip with a C in the corner. I love the idea and will love the product if I can get some help to make it work.

The product worked as I hoped it would, works great with my iPhone 7. I'm using it to screen mirroring on my pioneer car tv system

It is quitr complicated with android with apple works fine
