Great buy
Sturdy material, fun way to spend your time, and beautiful way to express your creativity. I used my own string though because I had my heart set on using my tie dye string.

Turned out better than expected
Didn’t read that it was DIY but still had fun making it. I was concerned about there not being enough material but there was more then enough. Instructions were very vague But it’s a dream catcher so it wasn’t hard to put two and two together for me since I’ve made them before. Didn’t take very long to make. Maybe 45 minutes with no distractions. I did get some glue to help the beads and feathers stay on. I only had Elmer’s but I’d suggest super glue. Overall pretty satisfied and glad to add it to my wall :) i would totally buy more if there were different colors to pick from.

Informative review
My kids and I got this for Christmas 2019. Finally opened it during the pandemic. It came in a plastic bag. The picture on the instructions did not match this product. Unlike many, I got instructions. But the instructions were in a language that uses symbols. There are pictures to use to try and make it. The instructions could have used more detailed pictures.Actual items in the bag included:1. 5 inch metal ring2. A length of suede to wrap the ring (Mine barely made it around, nothing leftover to hang it with as the picture shows )3. 10 lengths of suede (7-13 inches long) ( one broke as I pulled on both ends to flatten it so I could measure it)4. Some type of black string for the webbing ( not sure about exact material). 156 inches long. Other reviewers have said that it breaks and frays easily and using something else may work better. I have not tried to use mine yet.5. A bag containing several beautiful turquoise and white/cream colored feathers6. A bag with several beads ((turquoise, black, etc). And one bluish-green “crystal” ( made of plastic) for the center.7. Instructions with a picture on it that did not match the product. Plus, the instructions were in a language that uses symbols, not English. I can’t wait to try and put it together with my kids. If I have to use different string than the black string that is given, it will be ok. For $5.99, I say you get what you pay for.. I’m am glad that I got it. Will I get it again, I will let you know once I put it together. It is made by MEXIDAWN. If they have a website, I could not find it. I took pictures of the materials, and if I can figure out how to upload them, I will.I gave it a rating of three because of other reviews, and I have not yet tried to put the whole thing together yet.

Everything was great, except the thread.
Overall this kit is pretty good. The instructions are laughable--hilarious "Engrish" with very basic pictures. Thankfully I knew what I was doing. I would recommend this kit to someone who has made a dreamcatcher before, but if you haven't made one and you're still interested I would recommend watching a few youtube videos first. The hoop is fine. It had an obvious weld mark, but that was easily covered by the wrapping. The wrapping is pseude. That didn't bother me in the slightest. Leather scraps are not uniform, meaning your dreamcatcher will look more sloppy if you choose to use leather. The pseude wrapping is uniform, smooth, and wraps nicely. As you can see from the first picture, I had enough wrapping left over to create a hanging anchor to be mounted to a wall. The "crystal" pendant is plastic, which is whatever. I didn't expect a real crystal. It looks nice and was easy to hang. The beads were pretty good overall. Some had excessive paint or wood covering one of the holes, which I easily cleared with a needle. The feathers are lovely. They're soft, undamaged, and beautifully colored. What STINKS is the thread! It's fragile, unravels, and is prone to bursting. It can't be rated for more than a pound or two of pressure. It's also prone to tangling if you try to roll it up on a spool. So take that thread, throw it away, then drive to your local hobby shop and buy some sinew. Synthetic sinew is fine.I used black sinew in place of the thread that they supplied, and I am very happy with it. It looks more authentic, it's waxed (their thread is not) so it will be protected, and it had no issues being wrapped around a spool.I opted not to use them, but there were also smaller beads that came with the kit that could be threaded in your webbing. They were turquoise in color like the feathers/pendant.

Beautiful feathers....nothing else positive to say
Although the feathers and beads included in this kit were beautiful, the cheap quality of the suede strings and threads almost made the kit unusable. The black thread used for the 'web' was fraying and the knitting process difficult. The suede strips intended to be used for the feather display were pre cut into short pieces. They had to be tied together but when securing the knots, the suede often broke. I would have returned this item immediately if my daughter didn't need it for a school project. The enclosed instructions were laughable as the grammar was horrible. I had to search online for directions.

Used it for parts
I bought this basically for the supplies to go on one of my paintings. I needed the kit to add to the canvas I painted. The "suede" was sewn onto to canvas and used to tie on the feathers. The string that came with it is crap and was grown away. I used the bigger feathers (there is about 10 leftovers that were not used) and I used most of the bigger beads (some wood, some plastic, again lots of leftovers)

Very complicated piece with beautiful real stones and lots of pretty feathers
Do not bother buying this kit. There are no instructions whatsoever. When I contacted the seller, she told me to go on U-tube and learn it from there. Very complicated piece with beautiful real stones and lots of pretty feathers, but honestly, I don't know where to start. It's not one of those easy-to-do simple dream-catcher to make.
