I am known for carrying everything but the kitchen sink in my purse. However, now that I'm getting older, the strain on my shoulder from the weight of my purse is becoming an issue, so I actively decided to downsize and look for a smaller bag. I saw this little canteen purse and couldn't resist ordering it. I'm so glad I did because it is the PERFECT size for carrying every day. The design of having a roomy zippered compartment on both sides is just what I need. I was happily surprised at how much I can still stuff into this little bag, including my car's ridiculously large key fob.The quality of the bag was evident from the first time I took it out of its plastic wrapping. The leather is sturdy, and the hand tooling is beautiful. The compartments are lined with a light-colored fabric which makes it easy to see things and are closed with strong zippers. The leather strap is also substantial, and is adjustable, which is another plus. The little handle on the top is also a nice touch, as it makes it easy to grab when I'm getting out of the car. The patch pocket in the front compartment and the slotted pocket in the rear both help with organizing things. And I was so happy to see that the designer cared enough to include four metal feet on the bottom to help with stabilization and to help protect the leather on the bottom of the bag.After carrying the bag for three weeks, there are only three things I would suggest for future models:• I would put a small sliding leather ring on the shoulder strap to keep the excess leather from flapping around after it has been buckled. As a work-around, I tuck the end of it back under the buckle, which works, but it's kind of bulky.• Rather than having a zipper that only has one tongue that zips around each compartment, I would use a double-tongued zipper. That way, the owner could zip each side up so that the tongues meet in the middle at the top of the bag. That would make it much easier and quicker to open and get what you want out of the bag -- at least it would for me!• The dye on the back of the purse needs to be more permanent. After just three weeks of use, it is beginning to fade and become uneven in color -- unless that is what it's supposed to do? Not a deal-breaker, but just thought that could be better.Overall, this little sunflower bag is one of my very favorites that I've ever owned because it complements both casual and dressy outfits. Hope it lasts a long time! 5 stars for sure! :-)

I really like this crossbody bag, however there are a couple of things I would change. There are no zippered or secure pockets on the inside, and the bag is actually two completely separated sides rather than one compartment. I also don't like that both zippers zip to the bottom of the bag, so you basically have to lay it on its side to unzip it without risking your belongings spilling out. A couple of design changes would make this bag perfect.

This bag is adorable, well-made, and surprisingly roomy for having such a small footprint (8" in diameter by 4" deep.) The leather and stitching are good quality, and the tooling on the front side is so cute. The bag is divided into a front and back section, each lined with a floral-pattern material, and each with its own zip closure. The front section has a built-in 4.5x5" pocket, and the rear section is equipped with 3 card slots. Each section is about 2" deep. There's plenty of room to carry a small wallet (well, not longer than about 7.5"), cell phone, sunglasses, keys etc. and still space left over for other odds and ends. The shoulder strap is of generous length and fully adjustable - I am 5'4" and adjust about 12" shorter to wear as a cross-body. The strap is also removable, featuring sturdy swivel lobster claw clasps. The style works for just about any casual look, from boho to western. I really love this bag and have gotten so many compliments on it from ladies of all ages. It's pretty unique - have not seen another even close to similar. Five stars!
