Great product
This has helped me build my stash. It’s so quiet and effective. It is pricy but worth it

The best pump
This is my everyday pump and it works beautifully. It fully empties my breasts with a little help from my hands for the armpit areas. I have very large and dense breasts and I am an oversupplier and this pump works better than a few others I’ve tried. I use the Medela freestyle flex when I’m not at home and it does a good job but the symphony is top tier.

Hospital grade breast pump
I bought this for my daughter in law, it is very expensive! But my daughter in law was having trouble expressing milk to feed my Grandtwins.

Stops working
I had my baby less than a month ago and have already used two of these pumps that both stopped working. For the price, they should work!

Didn't last
Worked well for 6 months. Now has low suction. Too much money for it not to last and can't return for new one.

My Pump Goes Everywhere With Me
I’ve been renting the Medela Symphony for about two months, and at this point, this thing goes everywhere with me. I even repurposed a portable battery (one of those for the phones that also has a wall input) so I can pump without being plugged into a wall — I’ve used it in the car and taken it with me everywhere. It is heavy and not discreet for the record. Producing milk can be incredibly stressful, especially when you’re exclusively pumping, and the Symphony takes so many problems out of the equation. I know that when I sit down to pump, it’s going to do its job and empty me efficiently. You don’t need to be playing around with settings either. I had a terrible experience with the Spectra and genuinely felt like it almost ruined my supply, and while wearable pumps are convenient, they just haven’t been as efficient for me. The biggest downside is definitely the lack of portability. You have to set yourself up somewhere, and when you exclusively pump, it can feel like you spend the majority of your day attached to this machine. But that’s more of an exclusive-pumping problem than a Symphony problem. After renting it for two months, I’m now seriously hoping to buy one. It’s expensive, but for me, the reliability and peace of mind have been worth so much.

Worth it?
We bought this thinking it would be the key to helping with my pumping. I don’t know that the price is worth it though. I felt like I get the same level of pumping out of my “lower” model of pump. It’s big and bulky also, which made it a pain to move when I needed to. Also, it’s small, but annoying to me: one of the feet fell off the bottom within a couple weeks of purchasing it.
