Economical solution to a double problem
I pulled a coax and ethernet cable through an unused gas line to my office. Easy to install and looks great.

Great for organizing a home network!
Installed this wall plate where my router receives its cable. Only small issue which may be more or less important to others, was the white mounting screw quality. Using an appropriate driver, I scratched off all the white paint, and had to be very very careful not to damage the screw head. I plan on having a professional drop a Ethernet connection from this wall to another room in the house. Four stars for questionable mounting screws. Quality of plate and ports are overall exceptional.

Worked as expected
Used this when I ran a new ethernet cable from my basement to behind my TV using the same route as the coaxial cable. Worked well.

Nice plate but could use better mounting screws...
Plate works good .. could use better mounting screws ... Philip head screws striped on first try to tighten plate in wall frame ... used screws from an old outlet plate ... worked great

Terminate both Ends of CAT5e
This worked great. What I thought was particularly useful was that you could pop out the interface for the Coax so that you could attach it easier (to the back of the plate). I would have preferred to wire in the back of the CAT5e port. Though the truth is that terminating it with an RJ-45 is more useful if you ever have to swap it out.

Edited review: replacement works fine
Edit: I was sent a replacement without requesting it and the coax connector fits for with this one as it should.Original review: Coax connector wouldn't fit into wall plate. I had to dremel the plastic around the connector for it to even begin to fit. Clearly the connector wasn't meant for the wall plate it shipped with.

Better than wiring the connection.
Much easier to use than the plates what have connections you must hook up in the back. It takes up more room behind the wall then the type where you wire the connector yourself, buts it more than makes up for it in simplicity and ease of use. Just plug in the RJ45 connector into the back of the plate as you would into any device. Its that simple.
