Hi , is the lotion spray a heat protector?

No. I use Cloud-Nine magic potion. I have used cheaper ones such as Jon Frieda (used of a pink bottle). I only use this as a detangler on my daughter’s hair. It’s doesn’t do a lot but her hair isn’t frizzy anyway. On mine didn’t do anything but my hair is thick and frizzy curly type.
