Love, Death + Robots The Official Anthology: Vol 2+3 Paperback – 5 June 2022

Having been a fan of the show for years, I jumped at the chance to get my hands on many of the short stories the show is based on in one book. Many of the short stories are amazing and even better in print form than on the screen. I will say some of these short stories were a little bit of a let down compared to the show, however overall it is still a worthwhile and enjoyable read.

It's interesting reading these stories and seeing the similarities and differences between them and the animated shorts. Many changes they made work really well for the visual medium, and there are elements to some of the stories that have been omitted entirely, so you're not just reading a transcript of each episode (for the most part, there are a few screenplays) Has also lead me to some previously unknown to me sci-fi writers. I was also surprised to learn how old some of these short stories are!

It's the compilation of the original sci-fi stories presented in LD&R (2&3). Some of these stories are available for free in different sites, some are also available in other books and compilations. The most remarkable thing is that they include the screenplays for 2 stories that were written exclusively for LD&R.The most notable is the script of "Three robots: Exit Strategies" and the story behind its development.Oh!, by the way, I have the Kindle edition, so, adding a photo or a video is useless. The illustration would be the same as the cover.
