I make yogurt every week with a different yogurt culture. It a bit time consuming. This product is SUPER easy and takes 1 minute to prepare. After 1 or 2 days you have a delicious "drinkable" beverage. I throw it in the blender with some fresh fruit and keep it in the fridge. Remember to take a little out each batch to make the next batch. Awesome stuff!

We receive the product and some of the packages weren’t completely sealed but not damaged. The yogurt never worked.

I struggled at the start, found the company website, sent a note. They were so responsive! 1st generation, used VAT whole milk, 48 hours, runny. Took a TBSP and started generation 2. Same thing. Took a TBSP from gen 2 and started gen 3, and after about 18 hrs, I had a thicker consistency. Gen 4, made 3 cups and after 12 hrs, I had filmjölk! I skimmed the fat off the top like my mormor used to do. Now I'm using "regular" UHT 2% milk, and the consistency is smooth. The flavor is tangy. Wonderful! So happy to have filmjölk in the U.S.!!

I did like the taste of the yogurt this culture made though it was a bit thin. What bothered me was that one of the packets was not properly sealed and was spilled all. When I went to ask for a replacement, I found that this seller doesn’t allow any returns or replacements. Not cool. Won’t be buying again from them.

This yogurt is so easy to make! “Countertop” or mesophilic is the way to go!! No cooking or heating I just put some starter in a qt jar, time and date on the jar, shake it up and I’m done. It sits for 24-48 hours (my house is pretty cold so it’s a little slower) and I put it in the fridge. Bam that’s it! I love this yogurt. Trying the Matsoni next

Item shipped had bad packaging: Interior packets were defective, unsealed. Amazon did not provide any means to request refund or replacement. Contacted manufacturer, Cultures for Health Support, that quickly agreed to send a replacement at no cost. Awaiting replacement to arrive.

I had no problem reactivation this culture; it took about 2 days on the counter until it "kicked" but fine then and worked as starter for the next batch.Tastes like fil.

EDIT. Cultures for Health have now sent the correct culture and have gifted me the wrong one that they originally sent. I received excellent service when dealing directly with them. Thank you. I ordered the filmjolk yoghurt culture and received a greek yoghurt culture which is not what i want. I have since emailed and messaged Cultures For Health and have received no response. Returning the goods are out of the question as I live in Panama and return postage will be costly unless the supplier pays for it. I am extremely disappointed as I also had to wait a long time for the order to arrive only to receive the wrong item. Unless Cultures For Health respond and correct the problem, I am afraid I cannot recommend this company.
