Vinyl Renu Premium Siding Restorer, Revive all siding, 1 Gallon Kit

I was a little hesitant to buy this based on the price. But one side of my vinyl house is half covered by a porch overhand and half in the full sun. The part in the sun was very faded, but not the part over the overhang. It looked terrible. I considered painting, but thought I would end up having to paint much more than I needed to. I bought the product and followed the directions to a "T". Washed one day, applied the next day, and then a second coat on the third day. I am a single woman in my 40's, and it was very easy to use. (I applied with a paint brush.) This really worked!!!! The entire side is evened out. No more fading on the areas in the direct sun. I am very pleased!!! I am so happy I did this verses trying to paint the area. I wanted to add this comment in. I read that one reviewer didn't like it because it was glossy. Yes, there is a sheen after you apply. Personally I wouldn't consider it "glossy", but there is a bit of a sheen. I guess you have to weigh the pros & cons. It is SUCH an improvement over the dull, faded areas. Does it look brand new? Probably not...but I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars to replace that one area. Again, I am happy with the improvement! ONE YEAR LATER: I am so happy with this product. The very faded side that I did a year ago still looks great even after a very cold, harsh winter. The "sheen" has also lessened a lot! I am so pleased that this summer I am going to continue to the other sides of my house. One thing to add, my siding is light beige. But last summer I also used this product on my parents dark green plastic shutters. I noticed that you have to put thin/light coats on darker colors. There are a couple spots that dried with clearish/milky white spots. The shutters do look great, but I can tell where I applied too thick and this shows up on darker colors.

This stuff is AMAZING! I highly recommend if your siding is starting to fade or look dull. I was skeptical when my husband wanted to order it. Im so glad he did. It looks like someone painted our house. It brought it back to life. Great value! A Must!

I am in love with this product. Considered taking all the shutters down and painting them and putting them back up before I discovered the Renu products. My husband and I were able to treat 11 pair of shutters in one day while still on the house. I was a little disappointed after using the cleaner to remove the oxidation. After two washings I still came up with a positive scratch test. I called customer service and got an answering machine and was a little worried. My call was returned within 10 minutes. The representative was very helpful and told me to get fine steel wool and try the cleaning process again. I still felt all of the oxidation was not off. I had reviewed another customer review who had submitted pictures and realized he was getting the same results after cleaning several times but proceeded with the process and was happy. So we proceeded, I ended up applying two coats and I could not be happier with the end result. The shutters look brand new. Each time I applied the second coat it seemed as though the first coat started to come off and pill up. I learned that you just don’t do too many brushstrokes with the second coat. That said, the product that begin to pill up did dry smoothly and you could never tell. The First picture is before we started, the second picture is after cleaning and the third picture is the final product. You will have to use a little elbow grease cleaning, but don’t hesitate to buy this product. I bought the vinyl renu just for the value. I did use a half a gallon for 22 shutters but now I have plenty left for all those other projects I can do. My deck box, my Adirondack chairs and so much more.

I can REALLY tell a difference where I applied this! Siding looks pretty darn good!

Product not delivering the results I was expecting. Looks good till it dries and then not so good. Not sure why. Applied per instructions. A lot doesn’t go a long way. Will be contacting the seller shortly and see about a refund. July 20th update: I contacted the Renu folks and they were very receptive to my issue. They asked some pointed questions and I sent them some pics of my product issue. They came back with a solution about 4 hours later. I tried their solution and got the results I was looking for. Siding looks 95% or so better than it was. I can live with the results. My particular circumstance is kind of labor intense due to the siding being stained by an oil based insecticide applied by the previous homeowner and then baked on by the sun. Their supplied siding cleaner does a good job on mold, dirt, and algae but didn’t touch the staining. So bottom line, am mostly please with the product. 4 stars, not 5 cause a lot doesn’t go very far. But, thank you Renu folks for your kind attention and assistance with my issue. I do believe you have saved me from residing the house.

All I can say is OMG!!! Our vinyl siding is 14 years old and was chalky and faded. I was thinking I was going to have to repaint the siding or replace it. I researched for vinyl siding restorer and found this. I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try. And I'm glad I did! I used the cleaner first out of a garden spray bottle then applied the Vinyl Renu with a paint brush. Super easy to apply and my wife and I did our whole house in a day and a half. The results are amazing and our siding looks brand new. I highly recommend this product but be sure to use the cleaner first.

Waste of money and time. I purchased this product, July, 2022, and applied per instructions. At first it looked good. The second summer, it began spot fading, especially the south side of my house. This summer, 2025, the south side is 90% faded badly in large patches. The other sides are developing black mold spots even worse than before product was applied. I used the "cleaner" as instructed prior to applying the Vinyl RENU. (I even called the help line to ensure I was following instructions correctly.) It took me two full weekends to complete the project. What a waste if time and money. My siding looks even worse than before when I would just clean it every 3 years. Absolutely would not recommend this product. Only three summers and it looks terrible. I'm not sure how I can make the siding even look as good as it did prior to applying the VINYL RENU. Terrible product. Edit: 3/25/26... have noticed black mildew/mold spots even wirse and on top of that, checked and it seems that the Renu product just turned into a wax coating. Very upset with this product. Was applied summer of 2022. Not sure how I will correct the siding without totally having new siding installed. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

This product really did a nice job, and exceeded my expectations. this cleaner took all the oxidation off and the vinyl was very clean as well. This is hardest part as i scrubbed it all with 5" brush. The amount of cleaner needs to be increased as it doesn't go as far as the restorer product. I used it mixed 5 to one as my oxidation wasn't that bad. the restorer goes a long way. I used a 3" brush. This all takes awhile. My 66ft by 14ft. trailer took about 3 days of work. However it looks brand new. It has a nice satin sheen and dirt leaves etc. don't stick to it and water beads on it, and runs off quickly. For 250.00 bucks I did whole trailer and even the neighbors say it looks great. If you put in the effort and follow the directions It is way cheaper than replacing the vinyl. If i had it professionally power washed it would cost that much.

This product completely refreshed my worn out siding. After 10 years of sun beating down on it. It looks as good as new again, and it was so easy to apply. So glad I tried this before replacing the siding. Can’t speak to how it will last, but so far so good.

Came on time. I haven't used it in the siding yet but have used it on garden furniture and air conditioner housing and they look like new. Living in the tropics mould is an issue so a lot of harsh cleaning and strong sun so this is going to preserve things like new. I will order more.

Live in an area of Canada that gets very warm and sometimes very cold in the winter. The vinyl had definitely Oxidized and was showing its’ age. Used as directed with the cleaner and 2 coats of vinyl renu. Greatly improved the look of the vinyl. Not 5 star looking brand new, but REALLY good. From a distance it looks fantastic. Would yse this product again.

All I can say about this product is WOW ! It saved me thousands . Restored my vinyl siding to brand new . Definitely Recommend and would buy again !
