Manual Salt and Pepper Grinder Set of 2, Refillable Stainless Steel Mills

I have used these grinders for a few months now and have found no issues to report. They have proven durable. I like that I can adjust them to get the size of coarseness I like. It’s been particularly helpful with using the sea salt that I like to use. The funnel fits perfectly on the end of the grinder to transfer the smaller salt grounds into my smaller salt shaker. Note: I add a few grains of rice to my salt shaker to keep the moisture from causing the salt to clump and clog the openings for the salt to pour out of the small shaker. My mom used to do this too. It seems to be needed more with freshly ground salt. I like using the grinder to season my food while I’m cooking as well. I use the other grinder for black peppercorns. Using this will keep me from having to continue purchasing grinders of black pepper. (I like the flavor of freshly ground pepper.) The color of the grinder hasn’t tarnished and has kept its sleek appearance. The clear glass bottom has proven helpful to allow me to see when a refill is needed. It’s easy to fill/refill. Just twist the entire silver end. Overall, I feel this purchase was a good choice. The price was reasonable. Since the grinders enable me to use the salt that works better for me and will keep me from having to purchase black pepper grinders in the future, this has been a very good purchase for me.

I've had some serious bad luck with store bought grinders. From being too hard to twist to to hard to adjust to the breaking of the grinder top while I'm using it and dousing whatever I'm making in salt or pepper. It's been a hard knock relationship for sure. I've had hard plastic ones, wooden ones, and glass ones... all one failure after another. Then I saw these on amazon when I looked up clear glass salt and pepper grinders. I thought, for the price, that they were very nice looking and the pictures let me see how big they were. The Amazon reviews had a lot of pictures as well and those reviews actually sealed the deal for me. If so many people liked them enough to take pictures and write paragraph after paragraph, then this must be a product worth trying. They came in nice packaging and with a thank you note, which I think is just great. I even got a cute collapsible funnel. After the initial cleaning, I quickly put them to work. Opened those horrible plastic grinders I'd been using and throwing them away. I filled the new ones and tested the grind. What a relief. These weren't hard to turn at all! The initial setting they came with was perfect for me, very fine for salt and a lil more course for the pepper. I didn't even have to adjust them but I did. And that was easy too. They are very stylish and fit prefectly in my hand - not top or bottom heavy at all, they feel balanced. I've only had them for two weeks but just about everyone who cooks in the house has had a chance to try them and they love them too. It's nice when you find a quality product at a value price. I happily recommend this product to everyone, especially those with hand pain or weakness.

I almost returned these because I felt they were cheap. But I gave em a chance and now I love them. They work well, grind is good and the fact that they are upright makes them really tidy. Money well spent.

Really happy with this set. The grinders feel well made, are easy to use, and grinds smoothly. The adjustable grind works great, and they look nice on the kitchen counter. Great quality for the price. Definitely recommend!

UPDATE. I am moving my rating from 1 to 4 stars for customer service. After posting my review (as seen below) I was contacted by the company; they promptly sent a replacement set. I haven't been using the set very long, but everything is still in working order. After the issue with the first set, I'm not comfortable with a 5 star rating, but I would gladly give Benicci 10 stars on customer satisfaction. A company that stands behind their product and pays close attention to customer satisfaction is worth it. Given a little more time, I will gladly bump it up to 5 stars assuming the grinders don't disappoint. So far, so good. I loved these grinders at first, but that didn't last very long. They made it past the 30 day warranty. I bought them in May 2025; the salt grinder broke in August. It still technically works, but you have to hold onto the narrow black rim at the top to turn and grind the salt. So far, the pepper grinder still works. Fingers crossed!

Lovely salt & pepper set. The included collapsible funnel was a very nice touch! It made filling the shakers so easy. I can use this simple funnel for so many things! High recommend if you are looking for an attractive and functional set for your table.

Right size, with nice extras. Good packaging, with funnel and small brush as advertised. Tops remove easily. Capacity allows for filling from bulk buying. And adjustable grind. Just great value for money.

Good quality 👩🏻‍🍳 easy to handle .. I like that they are glass and not plastic .. I had been using the electric and also the battery operated Mills .. they always seem to break .. I got tired replacing them and thought I’d go back manual salt, and pepper grinders .. I’ve had them for several months without any problems .. very pleased with my purchase .. also bought a set of the shorter ones .. which I use for other spices as well 🍳 the lid snap on and off without any problem

I am very happy with these grinders. They do exactly exactly what they're supposed to do. Aside from their large size, which requires less frequent refilling (but requires extra room in the cupboard due to the product's height), the other reason I bought these is that the size of the ground pepper is adjustable, although it would have been nice if there had been enough instructions to explain how to do it. Look for the series of black dots (from small to large) on the dial inside the grinder head. They're hard to see on the dial since it too is black. If you want more coarse pepper, turn in the direction of the larger dots. For fine pepper, turn toward the smaller dots. Don't overturn, though. Otherwise, you'll have either completely closed the grinder or the dial will unscrew from the grinder. Regardless of the direction turned, there's no risk that you'll break the grinder. You should be able to figure it out if you fiddle with the dial long enough. It would help if the dots on the dial weren't the same color as the plastic of the dial itself. For day-to-day use, it would also be nice if there was a visible arrow somewhere for which way to turn the grinder to grind pepper. I still haven't committed it to memory, so I have to be careful not to turn it in the wrong direction. One direction is for grinding, the other is to separate the grinder head from the jar where the pepper corns are, which you only do to refill the jar. Needless to say, you don't want to turn in the wrong direction while you're holding the grinder upside down to pepper your food. Those are mostly minor nuisances, so I only dinged the product one star for ease of use, but still consider them a five-star product.

A small "o-ring" has detached itself from the bottom of one of the grinders and there's no way to put it back it seems. The grinder has stopped working as a result as this "o-ring" keeps the bottom chamber (that holds the pepper) from rotating along with the outside. The grind quality or speed is not exceptional either. Would not recommend this...
